About this listen
The adventure concludes with the triumphant finale in the Riftwar Saga.
Raymond E. Feist is an internationally best-selling author.
The battle may be over, but war is coming…
The Kingdom forces may have won the first conflict but the enemy has a strong grip on Midkemia and invasion now seems inevitable.
Arutha travels north to confront the Dark Elves, but without help, Pug knows that Arutha’s forces face slaughter. With Tomas he must scour the world – and beyond – to find the one person with enough power to give them a chance.
If they fail, Midkemia will be the first of many worlds to fall to a madman with the power to dominate death itself…
A Darkness at Sethanon concludes Raymond E. Feist’s bestselling Riftwar Saga.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

It’s 1984, and life has changed beyond recognition. Airstrip One, formerly known as Great Britain, is a place where Big Brother is always watching, and nobody can hide. Except, perhaps, for Winston Smith. Whilst working at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history, he secretly dreams of freedom. And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Simply incredible
I read this series as a boy and listened to it as an adult. Both readings were unmatched fantasy adventures. They make the lord of the rings seem dull. A must read.

Narrator has unique names for main characters
I do not normally mind listening to different narrators, but I have heard other recordings in the same series where the main character is called aruTHa and here he is suddenly aruTTa. Same same with Murmandamus. I just cannot do it. So I have had to buy it one more time with another narrator. Otherwise a fantastic book so I recommend only to buy this narrator or to avoid him. Don't mix if you have the same issue I have with how names sound...

He writes about love in the same Way a potato would write about the irish
So i like this book. But i admit that i almost returend it. And Only did not because how much i liked the ending. Now i feel that he could write romance better, Cause the Way he does it now is Kinda short, to the point, and mostly bitter. So just like how a potato would write about the irish.

Excellent ending to an even great series
Half way into book 4 I wasn't sure how this was going to end, but Feist has an amazing way of rounding things up. Masterful story telling and equally well read by Peter Joyce

Solid story in written form as well as audio form
The strong performance by Peter Joyce drives this fantastic crossover. I read this series in written form many years ago and I find that they are holding their own in audio format. This is a solid addition to the series

I just loved it
every moment was entertaining and I felt attachment to all the characters and felt the success they achieved. The only thing is I did not feel like I knew roald and so when he died I didn't really care. Otherwise great.
