A little neurotic

A tad neurotic, and assuming. jumping to conclusions. you really want the characters to get ahead. they do! wish there was a sequel.

A day at the office

Funny, a little hard to keep straight in my head about the people who was supposed to be attacked to whom! But it was funny to listen to,

Beachworthy Rom Com

Ok rom-com. It was kinda painful to listen to all the mewling concerning dating tropes but it was meant to be a fast, light, and humorous book.

I definitely want to work in their office as nobody seems to actually work; everyone was too busy jumping to conclusions or being dim-witted about relationships, running all sorts of personal errands but still get a paycheck. Yea!

Okay story, but audiobook not that great

The story was good...I think. The reader was way too fast for me to really enjoy it though. I kept checking to make sure I didn't have the speed all the way up at x2. Shame.

Hoped Matt Dunn would be a hit . . . .

When I'm reading a book, I read each and every word. Other people say that they skim through portions and skip other portions entirely. But NOT ME! And when I listen to an audiobook, I listen intently to every single part. But, while listening to Matt Dunn's A DAY AT THE OFFICE, I found myself not really caring when I couldn't hear each and every line because the sink was running or I had to step out of the room for a bit. I'm not sure what happened here, but I plan to give Mr. Dunn another try with my next audiobook choice. I really want to have found another wonderful author to follow!

My first Review...Here Goes!

I've never taken the time to write a review before, mostly because others have written what I would have said. This time it doesn't matter to me. As I listened to this book I kept wondering,"Why am I wasting my time? What is the point of this book?".
I mean I get it, office workers' love lives. However, except for some odd reason, the character Callum, has a bit of a backstory, the others, nothing. Which leaves you with no reason to care about any of the others. There are the minutest of details provided for the characters as though they did not exist prior to their previous relationship.
It's a pity because Matt Dunn has written better so I know he has the potential to do superior work than this tripe.
