a little less talk & a bit more action

To much talk not enough story . It was not what I expected, & had more talk about the Narrorator's experience than the story

Awful Read at least for me

I learned that there is so much brutality in this book that I absolutely don't understand why people listen to this anywhere, why they go to churches, bible classes, revivals. Murder, abuse, wife killings, child killings, dishonesty, incest, adultery. I was brought up Christian, and listened to selections of the bible as it was presented by preachers of all denominations. Listened to their stories, interpretations, but never bothered much to read it myself. I thought this book would be delightful, but found it repulsive. Not for me.
