I purchased the audible version and found it to be very good. Good military sci-fi story. Great beginning to a series of books. Hoping to see more audible in the series. Recommend the book.

I've listen to the first 3 books of the series. I'll summarize them in one review:

All 3 books have a great narrator!

Book 1 starts with a nice story, but the story develops quite slowly. The overall story is not bad, but it lacks lots of information. As if it goes too slow.. Other than that - the author does a short enough descriptions of people, ships, etc, so you won't be bothered with useless information.

Book 2 is kicking asses! Story goes much faster, lots of more information, very interesting!

Book 3 story is very rich - even more interesting than book 2.

In short - very nice series. Recommended!

Story started slow, started campy. The story began to pick up after the tedious opening scene with a detestable character that draws on to long and adds little too the overall story. Once the snot weasel hits his tissue, the story picks up and becomes more enjoyable.

Sci fi. Evil. Mystery. A bit of everything. Very engaging and always like this narrator.

Hard one to put down

Good overall - I cringed everytime the narrorator said H-U-D instead of saying HUD.

I always enjoy Mr Heppner and I feel like it's been ages since I last listened to Marc Vietor! He is such a a great narrator.

Anyway this series is a little like his Doom Star series and the formula works, I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the next!

What a great sci-fi series. You won’t go wrong if you buy this. I’ve purchased many sci-fi series like the old man’s war, the expanse, and many others this is a top-notch series. Just buy it you can’t go wrong
