This is the third audiobook in the Bluegrass Brothers series by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Kathleen Brooks.

As a natural born leader, Miles Davies accomplishes anything he puts his mind to. Upon returning home from his special forces duties, he has become the strong foundation of the Davies family and his company. But that strong foundation is about to get rocked in a big way by the one woman that always left him fascinated and infuriated. Keeneston's notorious bad girl is back!

Morgan Hamilton's life ended and began on her high school graduation night when she left Keeneston with no plan to ever return. As a self-made businesswoman, Morgan is always looking for her next victory. Little did she know that next victory would involve acquiring the company that belonged to the one man she always wanted for herself.

Great Story-bad audio

Would you consider the audio edition of Acquiring Trouble to be better than the print version?

I was unable to load the entire audio to this book. I got about 45% of the way through and then couldn't get the audio to work so I had to read the rest. I was hoping to be able to listen on a road trip.

A good story and an important one as far as the town, it's attitudes and acknowledgement of having judged incorrectly to the detriment of the child Morgan was.

Acquiring Trouble

I loved Miles & Morgan's story. It contains all the suspense and comedy that I have come to expect from The Bluegrass books.

Small Town Romantic Suspense

Eric does an incredible job narrating your favorite characters from Keeneston. This book is part of a series so I do recommend listening to the others first, but if you like small town romances with some suspense thrown in this series is definitely for you. Repeat characters who will make you laugh and root for them again again. Honestly this book has it all and is a great addition to any audio library.

Loved

Childhood crushes are the best aren’t they esp when one is the pinner. Ok, I don’t usually love that kind of drama but this was funny and sweet all rolled into one.
Morgan is a pretty kick bu – tt character and I like that she is still affected by Miles all these years later and so is he. But what kind of sucks is that it took her coming back and having to explain herself for him to trust.

I love this series and I am doing a bit of a refresher to get to the new ones.

Love Eric G. Dove’s performance esp of the Miss Lilly and her troops.

Second chance love

This story is about the oldest of the Davies brothers, Miles, and the girl from high school that had a crush on him from afar. Years later, Morgan returns to Keeneston, as an adversary of Miles.
Wasn't sure about Morgan when I first listened to the story but soon felt compassion for her. Miles cold heart slowly warmed once more. Great narration as always.

Bad Girl Comes Home

Morgan Hamilton left Keeneston the night of high school graduation. Now she’s back as the head of acquisition for an industry farm co-op giant. Miles Davies co-op is her target and he says no. Small towns have long memories and they all remember her acting out as a teenager especially her sister. Can bad girls come home? Romance and adventure in Kentucky. Great performance. Recommend.
