Story
Scale collaboration, not process. If you're trying to use agile and lean at the program level, you've heard of several approaches, all about scaling processes. If you duplicate what one team does for several teams, you get bloat, not delivery. Instead of scaling the process, scale everyone's collaboration. With autonomy, collaboration, and exploration, teams and program level people can decide how to apply agile and lean to their work.

Is your team always stressed out? Are the priorities set by your management unclear? Are you unsure of what every member of the team is working on? If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then this book will guide you to success. Kanban is a tool that helps teams and organizations concentrate on work and create a shared focus across different departments. It was developed by Taiichi Ohno in the late 1940s to improve the work done by the manufacturing department in Toyota. David Anderson defined the method when he used the tool to improve software development in the IT industry. It is becoming a popular way to visualize the workflow and also limit any work-in-progress items in different industries.
