About this listen

The #1 New York Times bestselling author of Fire and Fury delivers a breathtaking insider account of the 2024 Trump campaign—undoubtedly the wildest, most unpredictable campaign in U.S. history, including multiple criminal trials, two assassination attempts, and a sudden switch of opponents.

All or Nothing takes listeners on a journey accompanying Donald Trump on his return to power as only Michael Wolff, the foremost chronicler of the Trump era, can do it. As Trump cruelly and swiftly dispatches his opponents, heaps fire and fury on the prosecutors and judges who are pursuing him, and mocks and belittles anyone in his way, including the president of the United States, this becomes not just another election but perhaps, both sides say, the last election. The stakes could not be clearer: Either the establishment destroys Donald Trump, or he destroys the establishment.

What soon emerges is a split-screen reality: On one side, a picture that could not be worse for Trump: an inescapable, perhaps mortal legal quagmire; on the other side, an entirely positive political outlook: overwhelming support within his party, ever-rising polling numbers, and lackluster opposition. Through personal access to Trump’s inner circle, Wolff details a behind-the-scenes, revealing landscape of Trumpworld and its unlikely cast of primary players as well as the candidate himself, the most successful figure in American politics since, arguably, Roosevelt, but who might easily seem to be raving mad.

Threading a needle between tragedy and farce, the fate of the nation, the liberal ideal, and democracy itself, All or Nothing paints a gobsmacking portrait of a man whose behavior is so unimaginable, so uncontrolled, so unmindful of cause and effect, that it defeats all the structures and logic of civic life. And yet here in one of the most remarkable comebacks in American political history, Trump is victorious. This is not just a story about politics: It is a vivid exposé of the demons, discord, and anarchy—the fire, fury, and future—of American life under Trump.

Great Listen!

Like: Great Writing
Dislike: I miss Holter Graham reading, did not enjoy the cadence and speed at which the reader spoke.

Re-Record This

This voice is unbearable. Leave it to the professionals. I know this book will be good but I can’t get into it because of the amateur narration.

Trump is a D**k

Admittedly this book was a surprise. I typically watch a lot of news and have heard some of this already. I have never been a Trump fan and am even less so now. I’m reading this book approximately 1 month after Trump returned to office. A lot of what he said he was going to do he has started doing. I don’t think there is anyone I detest more than I do Trump. Hearing this from Michael Wolff’s perspective just made me dislike Trump and his minions more (if that is possible).
It's a long book, but I found it interesting. If you want to know how a republican party and the Trump minions think and operate, read it. If not, don’t. The book did answer the question, Make America Great Again. This book verified what I believed when I first heard the tag line – It means WHITE ONLY.

RECOMMENDATION: READ IT

Bring Back Holter

I love Michael Wolff and his books but, with all due respect to his writing… he is tough to listen to for an audio book. I really wish Holter Graham had done more with this one. It’s really hard to get through. I keep turning it off.

The author is such a bad narrator

Michael Wolff’s latest book offers his usual sharp insights, but the audiobook version is a major letdown. Unlike his previous works on Trump, which were brilliantly narrated by Holter Graham, this time Wolff takes on the narration himself—and the result is painfully dull. His delivery is flat and uninspired, making it difficult to stay engaged. Strangely, Graham’s voice does appear intermittently, only highlighting the contrast between a masterful narrator and Wolff’s monotone performance. It’s baffling why the publisher allowed this change. Was it a cost-saving decision? Or was Wolff himself insistent on taking the mic? Either way, it’s a misstep that diminishes the listening experience.

Too Ugly to Revisit

Donald Trump is a lizard in his ability to rise above his own corruption and incompetence and sell himself to the American voting public. If you want to beat your head against a wall, this is for you. Michael Wolff has an ear for the smallest of nuances that capture Trump's rise after his ignominious loss to Joe Biden and astonishing win in the 2024 election. I was rooting for the other side. Listen if you can stand it.

Impossible to listen to this book

I’ve enjoyed this author’s previous three audiobooks. Sadly, the author decided to save money by narrating this book. His droning monotone makes it impossible to listen to. I tried increasing speed without effect.
Glad I can return this book.

Terrible narration

I will be returning this book, and I strongly recommend anyone wanting to listen to sample the audio first - I bought this in advance, first time, and I was extremely disappointed with the author choosing to narrate this book. His voice is monotonous and getting through the book is extremely difficult.

Boring, boring, boring

Another M Wolff novel filled with hard page turning and repeating facts. Michael Wolf is once again the narrator and he is totally boring. I believe he is now in the business of only trying to sell books without substantial material or entertaining performance behind it. My best advice is to skip this book and only read summaries of it instead – you won’t miss a thing.!
