About this listen
Monsters, saviors, and weapons - the Vanguard don't care what they're called. All that matters is that they answer the call when people cry out in need.
The core worlds of the Roma Union are in the line of fire. Untouched by war for hundreds of years, they've become used to peace.
The Maurakians, bearing new technology, can go wherever they want; with little warning, the blanket of safety that humanity has created is ripped away.
Once again the Vanguard are called upon to act. To give their lives for others and hold out no matter the circumstances. Their target: Indalia.
What does it matter if you defeat the enemy in front of you, only to have your ally place a blade in your back? Rely on your family.
Every decision Mark makes will have devastating consequences that could change the direction of the Maraukian war and humanity's path forward.

Love this series.
What I like about this series and the previous series that introduced us to the Victor brothers is that it doesn’t get corny just when it seems like they may have some plot something or the other that is going to add a bunch of drama and leave things hanging for two or three books they wrap it up nice and quick and continue on a hell of a lot of fun now after the next audiobook, oh narration is great it’s different than the first series, but don’t worry about 10 minutes everything gels and you can even forgive some of the other different pronunciations

Great story with unlinear chapters
Love the overall story of this series but they need a new editor or need to actually read their chapters some chapters dont flow well. Also, 70% of 2000 is not 40 this is just one of many contradictory mathematical errors in this series. The overal idea of the story is great.

The Maraukians continue to meddle
The Maraukians continue to be troublesome to the humans and the resultant upsurge in humanity is somewhat predictable
