I loved the book. It flowed well. I think the narrators did a good job. I enjoyed it. My son heard some of it while I was reviewing it and he goes mom that is the cleanest book you've listened to in a long time. He was impressed that there was a long time between sexy scenes as he calls them.

I don't like when a male and female narrator's don't take the full female part and full mail part throughout the book. I liked the story.

Honestly don't have words. Narration is fantastic. Both narrators won me over. The story was brought to life. All the feels were awakened. Loved it!

Would you listen to Anchor again? Why?

As I read the ebook first I was curious how the audio book would hold up and I was just as impressed. I would definitely listen to Anchor again because the writing was so lyrical that the narrators just glided over the words effortlessly.

What did you like best about this story?

The two narrators offered a great change of pace and a way to really get into each of the main characters heads.

Have you listened to any of Stephen Dexter and Susan Fouche ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't but after listening to Anchor I'm likely to look for their work in the future.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The suspense of the story was so well narrated by both actors that the whole book kept me on my toes.

I can't wait to listen to more!

This is a fast paced action book! I was immediately sucked in and was WOWED more than once! The story is wonderful and I was easily hooked. The characters make this what it is. They are serious, fun and have an element of danger to them. I was surprised at how quickly a relationship occurred between the two main characters but I suppose a tense situation could do that.

This is a new to me author. I loved her snappy writing and lively characters. I listened to this on audio and Stephen Dexter and Susan Fouche (new to me) did an amazing job with all the excitement etc in their voices. That definitely added to the thrill of listening to this book.

I have loved everything I have read by Nicole Blanchard and this book is no exception. It has all the qualities I look for in a romantic suspense book and the author does it well. From the first chapter I was pulled into the intense action of the story. Ms. Blanchard had me on the edge of my seat as the suspense plot developed. Every time it looked like things were going to work out, more danger reared it's ugly head. This story is loaded with action, suspense, plot twists and sexual attraction.
Gabe is a former military man who adores his little girl, but his ex-wife, not so much. A man not looking for more than a one-night stand and to volunteer with the Coast Guard. Enter Chloe, who saved his ex and his daughter from danger. A woman unlucky in relationships but also not looking after her last heartbreak. The situation the couple is thrown into is compelling and intense, as is their attraction to each other.
I listened to this book and was gripped by the gravely, sexy voice of Stephen Dexter as Gabe. His voice pulled me into the story and the immediacy of the action of the book. Susan Fouche brings a wide range of emotions and passion to Chloe and the dual POV makes the book a dream to listen to. I'll definitely be looking for more books by this author and these narrators

What did you love best about Anchor?

I loved how strong all of the characters were. There wasn't a weakling in the whole bunch.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Gabriel is my favorite character. He's strong, determined and he'll do anything for his daughter.

Which character – as performed by Stephen Dexter and Susan Fouche – was your favorite?

I loved all of the characters, but Gabriel was my favorite.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I would've been able to listen in one sitting if I didn't have to work.

What a thrilling and engaging story this was. It kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning all the way until the end. It was full of suspense, danger, murder, romance as well as an unexpected twist or two. I can't believe this book sat in my library for over two years before I actually listened to it. Now I just want to listen to all of Nicole Blanchard's other books. I just loved both Chloe and Gabe. Both were such strong and compassionate characters who would put themselves in danger to protect or save other people. Stephen Dexter and Susan Fouche both did a great job bringing this story to life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romantic suspense.
