With every clue my assumptions shifted

What really made this book interesting for me was its ability to create a sense of mistrust. The are alot of suspects and with every clue, my assumptions shifted. The decades-spanning crimes add a rich complexity to the story, making it feel like peeling back the layers of a puzzle.

If I had one critique, it’s that the sheer number of twists might feel overwhelming to some listeners. While it worked for me, a few moments felt like they could have used a bit more breathing room to fully sink in.

Keeps You Wanting More!

This second book in the series does a great job of pulling you back into the story. Even though I wasn’t sure what to expect after part one, I was pleasantly surprised by how the twists and suspense kept me hooked. It’s an easy, engaging read that definitely left me curious for more. If you've read the first book, this one is worth diving into.

Much better

Much better, I think this is because we have more information in this book. The world is being built upon and is getting really interesting.

Ending is another cliffhanger I suggest if attempting this series you get all three novels at once as they are short and full of action
