The World's Finest tournament is coming, and with it comes the chance to truly show the world what you're made of.

And worse?

Better than I expected & a slight rise in maturity

Ok, 1st off, the story the characters and the world are gradually gaining depth. I would still like more backstory & character development rather than the obligatory sex scenes, but realistically I know that is what the market seems to want. Independent authors have even less freedom than the days of traditional publishing and the strict genre standards and unfortunately ludicrous sex is still sex and sex will always sell. That being the case, it is actually more impressive the way this author still uses it as a necessary plot device, but keeps the graphic crap a bit distant from the overall storyline. Yes this is still targeting the YA Male audience & it really doesn't matter, I was worried more about the MC growing up and to a certain extent I still am, but it seems to be what the author intended.
That was a very long way to say I enjoyed this book and the performance as well as a solid follow up from the first and I have already purchased the next book in this series. Which is all that really matters...

cut the sex scenes

I liked it minus the sex scenes they seem out of place and cringey but other than that

Book 2 even better

This series has quickly jumped to the top of my favorites. Nick is a bamf and his girls are just as interesting and the story is fantastic. 10/10 and the narrator is dang good too.

It would make a great anime/hentai

Honestly, this would make a great anime/hentai in my opinion. The depth of the entire story is meh but it does have good characters, interesting powers, and you don't just hate everyone or everything.

It is a decent read and though I feel like it lacks depth it is still a very entertaining read.

I like everything but the insecure MC

Everything about the story is great, but I get tired all whining he does, and the fact that he needs constant reassurance and approval from his girls, characters are better when they improve, and in real life insecurity and women do not well together so I hope the 3rd book has improvements on this factor.
