Publisher's summary

As the lead vocalist for country music’s hottest band, Derek Edwards knows that coming out as gay could mean the end of his career. With his life in the spotlight and too much on the line, Derek won’t let himself think about finding a boyfriend, much less the daddy he desperately desires.

Sheriff Colt Westfield has better things to do than following Hollywood heartthrobs or the latest singing sensations. So, when one drink turns into a mind-blowing one-night stand, he has no idea who he was with. That is, until he’s dragged to a concert and sees his sexy one-night stand strutting around on stage.

With a record label, management team, and fans watching, will they be able to find what they both need?

Very Sweet Story

I enjoyed listening to this sweet and adorable story. Derek and Colt are interesting characters and have a very good relationship from the very beginning. There is no angst and no issues/misunderstandings between these two, their relationship develops fast, but that is probably due to the nature of the daddy/little kink they engage in. I liked narrator's voice, it is very pleasant, however, I am spoiled by narrators who are performers, I did not find any performance here. Both characters sounded same to me and I wanted their voices to sound more unique. It is probably just me and I think other readers will enjoy the narration. At Home was a good start to the series and I am looking forward to other books in the Finding Home series. This is new to me author and I will be looking to listen to more books by her.

So sweet!!!

This story is so sweet that I just couldn't help but fall in love. I love the low drama of this story. Derek and Colt are just so cute and sweet together! Everytime they are together I couldn't help but smile and be so happy for them. Then Bolton Hill just made me love these characters even more. He does an amazing job in the narration and I couldn't help but fall in love even more.

Sweet and sexy

Having already read and loved this series, I was so excited when I found the audiobooks.
This book was my introduction to ABDL and I was immediately hooked.
The concept of a Daddy Dom is one that absolutely resonated with me.
Bolton Hill did an amazing job portraying Derek and his Daddy Colt.
I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Oh daddy....

I have been hesitant about this audio only because I have not listened to this narrator before but I'm glad I got it, I liked the narration.

Ok so having read every Carly Marie book, it was only natural to do my re read in audio.

Anyways, in here we have Sheriff Colt and lead singer of a country band, Derek. These two meet by accident at a bar and it was instadaddy.

I loved the way they naturally fell into the Daddy/boy lifestyle and yes this one has age play and it was lovely.

This does have a forced outting which I always hate, in real life and in books.

Bolton Hill did a great job and I'm looking forward to listening to him for the rest of the series.

The more age play books I read, the more I love th

Carly Marie is just fantastic at writing them. It’s so sweet, there’s no unnecessary angst and the way she tells the stories is absolutely lovely!
Dereck, a recently famous country musician, meets Colt, an older Sheriff, at a bar after one of his shows. Colt has no idea who Dereck is.
Their one night stand becomes so much more as they can’t seem to stay away from each other, and when they find out their interest in age play is mutual, them being together seems to be inevitable as much as it’s perfect.

Man, Bolton Hill’s voice gives me shivers, especially when impersonating Colt!

Sweet story, ok narration

I loved this story and really appreciated the low angst level/minimal relationship drama. I like the narrator’s voice a lot and conversations are generally easy to follow, but the narrative/inner dialogue voice sounds nearly identical for the two, so sometimes I get confused about who’s the focus of the story, in the moment, and have to go back to re-listen. It wasn’t super annoying or anything, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy listening to this book again in future, but not one of my favorite narrators.

Loved it!

This is a sweet age play story with low angst. It is also the first book of the series At Home.

I adore Derek and Colt; they are such a cute couple. I love their DD/LB moments, and how supportive the family and friends are.

I enjoyed both the story and listening to the narrator's voice. He did a great job.

I definitely recommend it.

amazing

At Home by Carly Marie is the first book in the Finding Home series. This novel contains kink such as spanking and age play.

Derek Edward's is the lead vocalist in a country band, and although he was "out" in college, his manager buried all traces of that past and kept Derek in the closet for the sake of his career. He knows that coming out may affect his career and has yet to let himself find a man worth that.

When he finds the sexy daddy dom, Sheriff Colt Westfield, he allows himself one amazing night to satisfy his deepest desires. Colt has no clue who Derek is, professionally... until he recognizes him on stage when dragged to a concert one night. But with the world watching his actions, can Derek grab hold of all hes ever needed and will Colt want to be his home?

I really enjoyed this story and the characters within it. The man characters Derek and Colt are wonderful together. They fit so well and I love their interactions. They can be funny, sweet and sexy together... they find what they need in each other and that's an amazing thing. I liked the way the kink aspect is written... I sometimes feel uncomfortable reading about age play but with this book, I felt it was perfect for them and I liked how we heard in their thoughts how the play made them feel. The characters and their story are well developed and comes to us in an entertaining and sweet way. The supporting characters are intriguing and make you need to hear their stories too.

The story is narrated by Bolton Hill. The audio audience is treated to a wonderful performance. Each character gets their own voice, with personality and life infused into it. The story comes to life throughout the excellent voicework and the smooth, clear recording.

At Home

This book was cute.. A younger country singer and an older sheriff... Instant attraction, right off the start with some lighter kink included. I liked how well the author seamlessly introduced the Daddy/Little aspect of this book. It was well done and not totally in your face extreme, with some light ABDL included. Just perfect for this book and these characters. I loved the Dynamic Derek and Colt had, and I loved how well Colt took care of Derek as soon as see saw him struggling and needing some direction, but he wasn't overbearing about it and that made this story great.

Audio - My first time listening to this narrator Bolton Hill, but I think he did an absolutely amazing job when it came to Derek, especially when he was "little" I did get lost in the story a few times and had to do some re-winding but that happens occasionally and shouldn't reflect bad on the narrator or author, I think they both did a commendable job with this book and I enjoyed it.
