Syracuse Orange Basketball lost to the Stanford Cardinal 70-61 on Wednesday evening. Adrian Autry's squad continues to get off to slow starts this season, despite numerous changes to Syracuse's rotation. It's also become evident that the current mix of Orange players simply do not fit together. Most of the rotational pieces were highly rated in high school or college, but Autry's squad appears to be a classic example of a team in which the whole is worse than the sum of its parts.
