About this listen

Many folks will look at the title of this book and immediately think that it's promoting eugenics or some other farfetched idea that is illogical. This novella is a well thought out discussion of why we have a birthrate crisis in over 75% of the countries in the world. We don't fully understand why we have low birthrates globally, and we can sit around all day and deliberate how to solve these issues. We need solutions for the plebs and waiting doesn't make sense as these programs should have been put in place decades ago as it takes two decades for a child to be raised. Many developed nations have relied on immigration to counter their low birthrates over the past five decades, which is good as migration is natural and immigration makes a country more robust. This can't be relied upon in the future as birthrates outside of a handful of countries in West Asia and sub-Saharan Africa are at all-time historic lows, so most people aren't replacing themselves globally, which has resulted in the modern-day birth crisis. Of course, we welcome immigrants from both continents, but we must also come up with domestic solutions and fast. Women in Western nations have been able to reproduce and give babies up for adoption for centuries, which is an interesting genetic strategy and can assist against the economic hardship that parents face, specifically women. The reality, however, is that adoption has historically included religious groups in secular states and doesn't control for necessary genetic variation within a population. The best answer in the modern world is to create baby farms in which entire city centers are set up to rear children, educate them, and prepare them for life as adults. This solution is modern, it offers all levels of society a chance to reproduce, increases specialization and optimal child-rearing conditions, and controls for the necessary genetic variations for our species to survive. This solution is not only necessary for humans here on Earth but will be necessary in the future if we hope to colonize other planets. Everyone of working age should be charged a birth tax, and both women and men who are will should donate ovaries and spermatozoa. There should be heavy oversight and restrictions put into place to stop nefarious behaviors, and each dedicated city will create jobs and optimize reproduction in conjunction with allowing greater economic freedom for adults of both sexes in society as well as more productive workforces. People can still choose to have children through natural means and participate in the program, but their contribution to both must be considered in a larger backdrop of the necessary genetic variation needed for our species, regardless of wealth and status. This is a modern solution to reproduction that controls for genetic contributions to the human race in which the rights of children and both sexes will be upheld in conjunction with child labor, rearing, and education being completely outsourced. It's modern, it's realistic, and it's the vast majority of most human beings chance within society to exercise their right to procreate. Countries that master this solution will overcome the challenges that they are facing with low fertility rates in a manner that controls for genetic variation and abnormalities in combination with maintaining the economic prosperity and freedom of its citizens!

"Developed countries tend to have a lower fertility rate due to lifestyle choices associated with economic affluence where mortality rates are low, birth control is easily accessible and children often can become an economic drain caused by housing, education cost and other cost involved in bringing up children. Higher education and professional careers often mean that women have children late in life. This can result in a demographic-economic paradox. " -Geeta Nargund
