About this listen

The wolf totally gets a bad rap in Little Red Riding Hood. There he is, eating that naughty girl up, and the huntsman barges in with his big ax. I’ll bet she loved it. I’ll bet she adored her big, bad wolf right up until she didn’t get her happy ending.

This wolf doesn’t disappoint in bed. Ever.

Everywhere else? Absolutely. I’ve got a long, colorful history of disappointing my pack mates and fellow bikers in the Breed MC. I’ve never met a rule I wouldn’t break, but now I’m ready to make up for it. I’ll atone for my crimes. Live happily ever after. If I’m lucky, I won’t even die of boredom. Being the good wolf is the least exciting gig I’ve ever had.

But after I kidnap a midwife, being good gets harder than ever. I need said midwife to nurse my Alpha’s mate through a difficult pregnancy. Kidnapping Rain was supposed to be my good deed for the day and a sure-fire way to make up for the mistakes I’ve made with my pack, but now my arms are full of a sexy, smart woman and I’m totally up for a change in plans.

I want this woman.

I want her to be mine.

And yeah… I want to be hers.

But what’s a wolf to do when he falls in love with Little Red Riding Hood? I’m supposed to keep my hands (and all my other amazing parts) to myself because kissing the midwife is off-limits for this reformed bad boy. Or it should be. Because I’m about to be a very, very bad wolf indeed.

This is a full-length, standalone paranormal romance with a filthy-minded, down-and-dirty wolf shifter who doesn’t have a filter but who does possess another outsized attribute to make up for it. You don’t have to listen to the other Breed MC books to enjoy Fang, but you will have a whole new appreciation for what he has to atone for.

So Funny!

I laughed so hard that it made me tear up throughout the entire book. Noah did a wonderful job with the characters, both female and male. You must write another book like this or make this the start of a series. I have never laughed so hard in my life. Loved it!

The Steamy Paranormal

What I liked about the book?

First off, the narrator is amazing! Noah Michael Levine is my absolute favorite. Next, I enjoyed the writing itself as well. It was almost like dialogue within dialogue, which made it personable and put the reader in the moment. I also liked the characters: they were diverse and funny and you could tell one from another as well as root for them. Finally, I liked the paranormal aspect of it as well, which gave the story a realistic yet otherworldly feel.

What I didn’t like?

Imagine if you were dating or wanted to date a guy and you found out that this guy was actually a wolf. Now imagine what your response to getting this news would be. I know what mine would be. If anything, I’d need some time to process this new development in my relationship to-be. And that’s if I’m not running away. Rain, Fang’s love interest, on the other hand, just seems to accept this with no additional questions or at least nowhere near as many as one would think she would ask. I wanted to see more in that respect because anyone else would have so many questions, conditions, etc.

Overall…

Despite Rain’s lack of asking important questions or responding to certain things the way you would anticipate, I think that’s what makes her character all the more interesting. The same with Fang and all of the other Breed MC members. They are who they are because of the interesting things they do and responses they give. So, if you like paranormal romances, give this one a try. It's pretty lit.

Reformed or not

Fang plans to show the alpha mate how much is reformed. Kidnapping the best human birthing may not be. Traditional or not she is going to help make sure mom and baby are okay. Fang is hysterical. A not to be missed audio

The story was interesting. The characters were well-rounded. The dialogue was captivating.

Didn’t like the abrupt ending.

Great series find...

I wasn't sure about this series at first. Asas the characters develop in the story starts to flow this is one of those series that you can't put down once you started it. Definitely worth the wait and definitely worth the full story read

This book ended too soon!

I find it interesting that this author uses the crass dialogue she does. I’m sure it’s all about this particular character (the Hero) but, it’s just about too much. Someone with a more delicate disposition would likely not be able to handle this book. The sex scenes are mild compared to the crass vocabulary of the Hero.

The Hero does grow, during the story and the reader/listener gets a glimpse into his abusive childhood in order to understand his character’s shortcomings.

My biggest issue, with the book, is that the book abruptly ends just when the Hero recognizes and communicates his feelings towards the Heroine and just when the Heroine learns about the pack’s secret. So much more could have been done with this book. I would have liked to have seen the Heroine have interactions with the other old ladies and the club culture, after understanding the pack mentality, of the pack. Things that had really bothered her would have made so much more sense to her.

To be honest, had this book not been included in the Romance/Escape package, or been on sale, I would not have even listened to this book; it’s too short and 6.5 hours is not long enough for me to spend a precious credit on.
