Publisher's summary

It seems we are surrounded by successful people everywhere these days, and the majority of them make it look so easy.

It’s hard to imagine that people can make a living from posting memes on a Facebook page or sharing pictures of their butt at various angles on Instagram.

How are some people more successful than others? Why do some make more money? Is it possible to achieve success when sometimes I can’t even find my socks in the morning?

It all comes down to self-discipline - the catalyst to making your dreams a reality.

You probably know that everything worth pursuing involves hard work. Hard work takes time, and most people give up before seeing any progress.

But not you! You are not those people! You are a badass that won’t give up easily, and are ready for getting down instead of giving up.

This audiobook is for you - the badass in dire need of realistic and practical ways to build and maintain self-discipline.

My aim for this audiobook is to wake up the badass within you, so you can achieve any dreams you desire in life. Whether it be losing weight, getting out of debt, or growing a beard, just like all the other successful people, with the right knowledge and attitude, you are set to succeed.

In this audiobook, you will learn about:

  • The key secrets of self-discipline: Why some people have success, and most do not. It all comes down to a few vital points you will learn in this audiobook.
  • No more daydreaming: Learn how, through self-discipline, you can turn your dreams into reality. It doesn’t matter if you want to lose weight, improve relationships, own a Mercedes, or live on the moon; with the knowledge you will learn, you can do it!
  • Fight instead of fail: Learn why and how your failures can be used to get out of your comfort-zone and discover the endless possibilities for success.
  • Face fear: Understand the core reasons behind fear and use self-discipline to cultivate the qualities and mindset of successful people.
  • Stand your ground: Learn how to stay focused to your goal despite all the distraction of this noisy world. How to set your own rules, defend them, and teach others around you to act according to the rules you set.
  • Discover what happens after success, and find out how to maintain it. Know the number one enemy that can take your success away, and how to fight back and keep it at bay.
  • And much, much more....

If any of the above resonates with you, then congratulations! You are making that critical first step to becoming a self-disciplined badass who can and will overcome any challenges and obstacles in order to achieve anything you seek in life.

Get this audiobook now, and let the journey begin....

Great content, as usual!

I loved this book, and had read in the past the subtle art of not giving a f***. I like the content as well as the humor used throughout the writing.

Short advices for a better discipline

Berger hits the right spots with this book! It's content is really focused, aiming at the development of better discipoline and habits, and much of the theory around it is explained with down to earth examples, so much of it's advices are really pratical. As it's tipical of Berger, there are some jokes around the content, so that makes the reading or listening to this book something a really funny and light activity!
Eric performance as a narrator is really solid and really gets the pace of the book, so it's never a boring book to listen to.
I would say that Berger has improved a lot in his writing, and he's really getting near the perfect 5 stars book! If you want a fast but effective reading about discipline with some light humour, this is the book to be heard!

Warning.. causes spontaneous outbursts of laughter

I'm a self motivator that needs a little encouragement from time to time, to achieve my goals. This book does that while containing the same successful formula that Berger's other books are so popular for. It's packed with encouraging tips and delivered in a very uniquely humorous way. I almost died laughing from chapter 2 using DICKS to build self discipline. Discipline, Identify, Challenge, Knowledge, and Success.
The narration is perfectly on point as well. I was given this free review copy, but decided to leave a honest review on my own because I enjoyed it so much. If you like this book.. check out Berger's Secrets of Not Giving a F*ck.

in need of a personal pep rally, here you are!

The material is good and the stories are relevant, the narration is also very good but could be slightle less teleprompter sounding. all in all it was very good I enjoyed it!

I should have stopped at the title

Not for the easily offended, including myself. This book contains so many offensive topics it was a struggle to get to the end of it. I consider it an hour and a half I will never get back. If you're offended by words like twerk, fuck, ass, or shit, it will be a struggle for you as well. Aside from the language, this author intimates that we all do things like stalking or Internet stalking, and that we may expand our horizons with a class in twerking. McDonald gives the example that you will want to follow great people if you have a goal, rather than some internet guru who is working in his mother's basement. I wonder where this author himself has his office? I said I would review it and now I have given my honest opinion.
