Publisher's summary

Do you actually want to make money playing poker? This is your road map. You will get two different viewpoints: playing the player (Tyler Nals) and playing the technical game (Douchebag Dave). Tyler and Dave banter back and forth throughout the book. You will likely take a side in your mind.

Unlike any other poker strategy book, this ending might surprise you. Hope you enjoy!

Excellent as always

I really liked this book even though I don’t consider myself a beginner. It was written in an educative, Yet fun way.
I think everyone will get something they like out of this

Good Info Shrouded in a Lame Gimmick

Nals is a fount of poker knowledge but the silly back-and-forth the reader is forced to perform by himself makes this book nearly unlistenable. I don’t need characters or juvenile jokes in a book about the basics. Just plainly give me the facts and data, I can go back and repeat a section if it didn’t sink in the first time. The narrator does a heroic job trying to make this funny but the dual character conceit - one version of Nals explaining the nuts and bolts; the other elaborating on the unwritten rules of the game - is too inane to make enjoyable.
