I love this series. Absolutely wonderful third installment ! I hope we get Lyra’s story next. Exceptional narration, cut ending and lovely slow burn spice.

Townsend Harbor sounds like a fun, and at times ridiculous, place to live! It’s definitely got a ragtag group of residents that bring some flavor to the town.

First off... All the books feature characters on the ND/Autism spectrum, but Gemma's experiences with adult-diagnosed ADHD hit especially close to home. So I have a bias in her favor. She is definitely my favorite character so far. I related deeply.

One might think that including sensitive topics (such as: PTSD and homelessness among military veterans, chronic pain and unseen disabilities, sex/body positivity coming from breast cancer survivors and survivors of childhood sex abuse, etc) would make the books huge downers, but it doesn't. Just added depth that I appreciated throughout the series. Again, certain topics also made it easier to relate to characters in this and the previous books. Or where I didn't relate, I was able to take a step back and learn a new point-of-view.

I'm also enjoying learning more about the town and world created by these authors. The cast of wacky neighbors and extended families is growing and I don't hate it. Looking forward to more.

I never have any complaints about these narrators. Teddy Hamilton, especially. ❤ Rawr.

While the book’s mid-end was very rushed and a little weird, the love story was wonderful. The neurodiverse connotations and quips had me laughing and the way to love through the scattered universe of Gemma’s mind were fantastic. I appreciated how she and Gabe connected and just understood each other’s hangups. Will definitely be listening to this one again and again.

Finding an FMC I can relate to in neurodivergence was wonderful! I just love this series.
