Publisher's summary

Their love is undeniable....

Happily married for four and a half years, Beau and Ethan Walker are ready for the next phase in their lives. They want what so many people dream of: a baby.

Their commitment is unwavering....

Expanding their family with a tiny bundle of joy isn’t as easy for them as it is for the rest of the Walker clan. However, they have options, and they’re willing to do what it takes because they’ve learned that the things worth fighting for aren’t always easy, but they are definitely worth it.

Their strength will be tested....

Despite their deep desire and their endless efforts to start a family, there are outside forces working against them. Some they can see, others they can’t. Every step forward seems to take them two steps back.

Only during their darkest moments do Beau and Ethan realize their true strength comes from the most important things they have: love, family, and each other.

So emotional

At one point I really wanted to slap someone, hard! I simply hate narrow minded people.
This story seriously made me insanely angry! Anyway, it's so important to not forget the minorities in todays society, everyone are equal!

When I started listening to this audiobook I really didn't think this story would touch me so deeply, and that it would awake so many different emotions in me.
Not only anger, but also the love, the pain, the scare. Having felt some of it myself thisnstory brought back some memories and tears.

Long live love!

Beautiful story

Though this book is titled Beau, it really is the continuation of the story of Beau and Ethan. It stands alone, but the series does include the family of characters from Nicole Edwards's Alluring Indulgence series. Beau and Ethan have been married now or 4-1/2 years. Though blissfully happy, they would like to have a child. When it becomes impossible to find a surrogate, their sister-in-law, Zoey, offers to carry their child. This journey of family, love and life adjustment is written beautifully. Edwards captivated me with the touching relationship that Ethan and Beau have. Their love is unconditional, they are there for each other through every trial and every happiness. I love the family dynamic, each of the Walker brothers having a huge part in their lives. The difficulty Beau faced with his own family shows the adversity of his life and the twist that brings everything to a head. Edwards always has a well developed and thought out story, but this one really touched my heart with it's struggle to have a child, the journey of the pregnancy, the love and support they received and the love for each other. This is truly a beautiful book.

Narrated by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, I could envision each character and feel the great emotion of the story as it played out. The narration of Beau and Ethan especially was incredible. These two have been through a lot, and you could feel their history, their fears and their love through Tor's performance. Charley gave the women each their own personality, but I really enjoyed her portrayal of Beau's mom. This character has a lot of depth and many sides, each given it's own emotional performance. I loved the narration!

I enjoyed this installment of the series. Getting to know more about Beau and Ethan's relationship was really nice.

The narrator made the story really come alive. The southern gay male accent is spot on!

A true loving romance!

The love that Beau and Ethan share is so strong to withstand all the trials Nicole Edwards puts them through. This is more a true to life romance that captures your heart. Each struggle is so real. Having a baby is sometimes so difficult that it tears people apart. For Beau and Ethan, it strengthens them. I love how close the entiree Walker family is, how they support each other and most of all, protect each other. The troubles Beau and Ethan face seem to multiply as they get a glimpse of hope. As it seems in real life, curveballs constantly make plans change. But together, along with their family, they face it head on. I enjoyed being a small part of the Walker family as I read the story. The tight knit of the family is warm and welcoming.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel narrated this story just as I envisioned each of the characters. Tor brought out the sweetness between Beau and Ethan. The strong love Beau and Ethan shared could be felt through the narration. Charley Ongel narration enhanced the female character's emotions and attitudes. I loved Charley's narration of Beau's mom. Her many different sides and secrets were brought to life through Charley's narration. The narration of Beau completed the experience of the book and truly brought it to life.

WILD ABOUT THOSE WALKERS!

Wow. Just wowwwww! BEAU by Nicole Edwards was fanfreakingtastic! This is my first book by the author but will not be my last. Although this is technically a sequel, and picks up four and a half years after ETHAN ended, this book totally works as a standalone!

A couple of things drew me to this story, which is the fifth installment in the Walkers of Coyote Ridge. One,it is narrated by Tor Thom who is one of my all-time faves. And secondly, I love stories of married couples facing challenges, and the plotline surrounding a same sex couple struggling to have a baby via surrogate was one which I found particularly fascinating! And can I say that the author BLEW ME AWAY with this book!

Oh. My. Heart!! The fierce, unconditional love and unfaltering devotion between Beau and Ethan was so POIGNANT and DEEPLY MOVING it made my heart soar! These very married boys are the very definition of FOREVER LOVE, and their commitment to each other was just beyond endearing.

The author did a magnificent job of exploring this couple's soul deep connection, robust romantic history and heartfelt emotional bond. Which made their hot sexual interludes go so far beyond physical gratification because each and every exchange was based on such a solid foundation of love. I ESPECIALLY relished when these two crazy in love alpha men got all rough and dominant in the bedroom, sometimes for fun and other times as a way to express what was truly in their hearts. I was particularly moved by the erotic interludes where these two big, macho men stripped each other bare, emotionally and physically, in the heat of the moment, when their hurt and pain over their struggles to have a family were bottled up so deep that mere words were not possible.

And what made this book even MORE remarkable to me was the big extended Walker clan, helmed by Curtis and Lorri, who are the proud parents of the seven wild and rowdy Walker brothers. I loved the Walkers SO MUCH, and they truly are the EMOTIONAL TOUCHSTONE of this story for me. I adored the rich family traditions, the numerous celebrations (mostly revolving around Curtis and Lorri's 15 grandkids and counting!) and most importantly, it touched me to the core how this family stuck together through thick and thin and ALWAYS had each other's backs.

Which was such a sad contrast to Beau's judgmental, homophobic family, who cruelly shunned him for being true to himself. It broke my heart into a trillion pieces how much his close-minded, bigoted parents hurt Beau, and by extension Ethan, because his beloved husband's pain was like an arrow to his own heart.

There are some surprising twists and a plethora of heartfelt feels throughout their journey into parenthood and I truly felt the full gamut of emotions! I laughed. Smiled. Cried. Swooned. Ranted and raged. And finally just basked in the sweet bliss!

Narrated by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, this dynamite duo once again KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! Tor's vocal range and acting talent never fails to astound me. The depth of emotion he projected throughout really made this listening experience one that I won't soon forget. In particular, his ability to infuse the characters of Beau and Ethan with so much heart and soul, emotional complexity and raw intensity that you instantly fall head over heels for these men was extraordinary. And he also did a wonderful job of giving the supporting characters a distinct personality. And, on a more frivolous note, his gruff southern twang just lit my girly bits ON FIRE, and made me squirm and swoon like a giggly schoolgirl. And Charley also did a wonderful job with the womenfolk, giving them each their own unique quirks, vibrant personas and definable traits!

BOTTOM LINE:
BEAU: WALKERS OF COYOTE RIDGE was all kinds of awesome! A captivating, emotionally gripping and heart-tugging listen from start to finish. Ethan and Beau just might be my new fave MM couple to date and now I have a hankering to read all the prior books revolving around the big-hearted Walker family.

Highly recommend!

Beautiful Story that’s Wonderfully narrated

I was so excited when I heard we were going to be getting more from Beau and Ethan and Nicole Edwards did not disappoint she gave me everything I wanted and so much more, it was wonderful to be back in Coyote Ridge with my favourite clan and it was perfect to get all of the family involved in this beautifully written continuation of Ethan and Beau’s love story. Just over four years into their marriage life is good their love for each other is as strong as it was when they first meet but a baby would make their lifes complete and this book is about the journey they take to make a dream a reality, it’s about the obstacles they have to cross and in parts it’s heartbreaking but it helps when you want something bad enough and when you have the Walkers behind you. The interaction Beau has with the toddler’s and children in this family show what a wonderful father he is capable of, he adores them he plays with them and most of all they all love him and want to be with him but Ethan is not so sure he will make the perfect father but he is prepared to do what ever it takes to make his soulmate happy.......
This book had my emotions running so high and at times my heart broke but I was so glad that once again I got a chance to be part of the love Ethan and Beau share for each other. The Walkers are a family we would all love to be part of nothing is too much trouble for their family and friends and this book is prove of that, once again Nicole Edwards managed to make me feel like I was going home. This book is a wonderful story and it deserves every star of the fives stars I have given it. This book is one of my top reads for 2018.
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel really brought these characters to life for me they narrated this story exactly how I imagined it.
