Publisher's summary

There is an illusion propagated by Hollywood and the media that other people have somehow worked out this 'life thing' better than us. Look around the people you work with and you will see individuals who seem unshakable, brimming over with self-esteem and personal power. But how do you know it is what it first appears?

Even the strongest and most successful people have deeply negative self-talk that they keep hidden under a protective outward-facing veneer. No matter what you currently believe about yourself, you can be assured that there are other people out there who look at you and wish they had some facet of your personality. Whether that's your confidence, your appearance, your attitude or any number of great things you almost certainly overlook.

Do you feel like people don't know the real you?

Do you worry that, if they only knew how much worry and doubt you have inside your head, they would see you differently?

Do you feel a lot weaker on the inside than people believe you to be on the outside?

If this book feels like it was written just for you, there is a good reason. Most people are nowhere near as comfortable with themselves as they first appear. Some people doubt their intelligence, the way they look or even their own thoughts. The truth is, despite what the media says, perfection doesn't exist and that's okay. More than that, it's a perfectly beautiful truth of humanity.

This book will show you how to embrace and then permanently release your inner demons. Stripping away all the self-limiting beliefs that have, up until now, prevented you from living the life of your dreams. The secrets of this book will once and for all allow you to accept the real you. I will show you how to fall in love with yourself, exactly as you are now.

May read again for higher rating

I have become a fan of Craig Beck work in the past couple of weeks and listened to several audiobooks by him. I always love his narrative and I like that he expresses beliefs I share in new ways, and his work is a reminder of how I want to live. This book repeated lots of what the other books said, so I gave it slightly lower rating. Perhaps another listen would reveal new material I missed. This book, like the others, reminds me of the real way I am meant to live and reminds me I am not alone in the way I view the Universe. Multiverse. Everything. ;)

Perfect in every way

Would you consider the audio edition of Beautifully Imperfect to be better than the print version?

Have only listened to the audio and can say that I find it excellent.Craig is a down to earth guy, and I can honestly say the best I've heard in a long time.

What about Craig Beck’s performance did you like?

I would liken it to listening to a friend who shares the same common interests.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Forgive yourself and let it go

Any additional comments?

Craig is a wonderful guide at this moment in time. I look forward to learning all that I need to learn from him before moving on. It's a pleasure to have Craig as my teacher right now.
