Publisher's summary

Byron is tall, handsome, well-spoken, wealthy, and has outstanding taste in wine and food. You’ll be impressed by his impeccable attire and eloquence in conversation, ranging from Baroque art to the newest advances in pharmacology. With his charming smile and elegant manners, Byron truly is the perfect date...and who doesn’t love a man who appreciates opera?

What’s the catch, you ask?

Just this: If Byron finds you suitable, he will subject you to utterly depraved forms of torture.

No, I’m not talking about S&M.

Byron will mutilate, rape, and then kill you. Don’t think that you will survive the encounter, because you won’t.

He has a perfect record.

Intrigued? Would you like me to arrange a rendezvous? It has to be in the next few days because he’s leaving on a trip south to much warmer climes, and his calendar will be completely full.

Yes? Very good. I will make a reservation for two under the name of Smith.

Who am I? I’m Gloria, his personal assistant.

Not for the faint of heart…

This story was brutal, but I couldn’t stop listening. I was intrigued from start to finish.

This was my first book listening to Ian, and he was magnificent.

If you have a weak constitution or are easily triggered, this book is not for you. It was definitely worth the listen to me.

STUNNED

Bey Deckard is a new to me author. I read/listened to Max which was an epic journey that twisted my mind and left me wanting more. That lead me here. I dont believe in spoilers, so I won't give away plot. Just know the plot will take you on a journey you didn't see coming. Bey is extremely talented, painting precise pictures, phenomenal dialogue and all in all extremely engaging. I have never read a story in the horror genre, but that is what this is- horror (as listed by Amazon and audible genre). So, if you enjoy that type of entertainment then this is definitely for you. Its twisty and graphic. (understand youre being submerged in a serial killers mind and actions in DETAIL) I have never listened to narrator Ian Walker. He was superb giving each character unique voice. I was extremely impressed with his talent. I would definitely recommend this. I love discovering new authors and narrators and have no triggers.

Brutal

Pretty horrific in a number of scenes.
Had to take a break for a few hours at a couple of places. Horror isn’t usually my choice of listening entertainment, but Bey Deckard is a fantastic author and Ian Walker gave a terrific performance. If you like or can tolerate horror, and like erotica, you’ll enjoy this book. I’m giving it 5 stars all around.
