Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. Beyond Time
This is an interesting tale of magic and romance that involves many characters from the tales of King Arthur and his men. I was pleasantly surprised at the twists and turns that this author takes with the mythology of the Arthurian time and stories. The characters are strong and well written. I enjoyed Christian and Elizabeth’s story. Their story was a gripping take that pulled me in and had me hoping that love would win in the end. Not only do the main characters stand out in this story but the supporting characters shine and have listeners wanting more of their stories. Christian and Elizabeth’s story takes place in the time of knights and kings. It is full of love and chivalry alongside some painful and descriptive torture. Narrator Nicholas Patrella does a great job of bringing the emotions of these characters to life. I was quickly immersed into their world and engaged to the end.

A Great Paranormal Listen!
This is the first book I have listened to by this author and I have to say it won't be the last. This was a different take on a PNR for me and I loved how it went. Usually werewolves and vampires are enemies and this book did not pit them against each, which I really liked! Lance comes across as this irreverant man who doesn't think he needs to rely on anything but his wolf. And when that gets him in trouble, he is sent back to the past to train under his father. And there meets his mate. I love him and Elizabeth together! She definitely needs more from her life than what she has now and Lance is perfect for her. There are, of course, complications and twists and turns but it made it all an enjoyable journey that I truly loved!

Too much yelling in the narration
I enjoyed the story. There were many times the narrator was a distraction because he would get so loud so often.

A Delightful Listen
Immensely enjoyed listening to this story. There’s lots of suspense (and horror) as the story progresses that will keep you raptly listening. The narrator, Nicholas Patrella, lends the perfect voice and tonal quality to Christian Lancelot DuLac, the main character of this story. “Lance” has the unfortunate attitude of the know-it-all…I’m invincible…woe-is-me-nobody-loves-me buffoon that I found to be quite irritating at times. I love Zephyr who is also featured in both Books 1 and 2 of this series. The ending has a wonderful surprise in store for the listener!! Love chivalry and redemption
This paranormal fantasy romance takes us from present day way back in time to Camelot, King Arthur’s court and how one unwitting young man Christian Lancelot DeLac learns to be a knight and a formidable foe to guard his friend Prince Jared Bonatelli. However it was not in the scheme for him to find his mate Lady Elizabeth Payne and the complications/perils to achieve the goal.
I also believe that there is moral in this story, you may not have been raised by the family that bore you but that doesn’t mean that they don’t love or care and maybe theres continue waiting circumstances that forced them to give you into some else’s care.
This story is a fun albeit sometimes gruesome trip back in time to Lords, Ladies, chivalry and love.
Thank you Sandra Bischoff for gifting me this finely concocted tale. I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to listening to more.
Also Nicholas Patrella did an excellent job narrating.

Entertaining
This was a very entertaining, paranormal story. I hadn’t read or listened to the first book in the series however I didn’t feel lost at all or feel as though I missed anything. There were some very interesting characters in the story and I especially liked Lance, the lead character in the story and Zephyr, the vampire. The story was exciting and action packed at times and kept my interest throughout. There were some gruesome scenes when one of the characters was being tortured that I had to fast forward through (just because I can’t take that sort of thing), however they fit with the storyline. There was also some comical dialogue, especially with Lance, which made the story entertaining. I thought Nicholas Patrella did an exceptional job of narrating. I especially liked how he did the voices for Lance and Zephyr, I thought they were spot on for their characters. I would be interested in getting the next book in the series to find out more about these characters. I did receive a complimentary copy and am providing an unbiased review.
