Only One Life
About this listen
Want to spark your children's interest in God's knowledge? Then you need to keep reading….
Isn't it amazing how quickly children learn when they're young? Their brains are like sponges, soaking up all the information they come across. They are intrigued about Jesus and God, but by the time they reach adolescence, the majority may have stopped asking questions about the Lord Jesus and may have begun to doubt their faith entirely. You are busy with your job and household matters. You don't have ample time to research and question your kids' knowledge of what they know about God, belief, and his plan for them. Sometimes, all you do is wish you had the time.
No more wishing! Only One Life has done all the hard work for you. As you sit, walk, and drive with your children, you can ask them questions from this audiobook and have an in-depth Bible discussion right where you are, focused on the word of God.
In this audiobook, you'll discover:
- How God wants you to be circumcised
- How God is no respecter of persons by knowing the first person an angel appeared to
- A door God has opened for you and how to go through it before it's shut
- That Abraham's relatives died in Sodom
- Why God rejected Cain's offering
- One life-changing thing Ishmael learned from his father, Abraham
- What it means to "go down to Egypt" and "come out of Egypt"
- What Abram lost when Lot took the well-watered plain of Sodom
- A possible reason behind Joseph's harshness to his brothers
- How God is revealing himself to you today
And much more…
You'll be overjoyed to find over 431 rich Bible questions and answers that will encourage you to love and know God more!
Are you ready to help your children embrace more of God? If you want to spend meaningful time with your children, have fun, and discuss what matters the most in the world, you need this audiobook today!
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Stripped of its arcane language and interminable passages, every book of the Bible is condensed down to its core message, in no more than a few pages each. Written by Mark Russell with cartoons by New Yorker cartoonist Shannon Wheeler, God Is Disappointed in You is a frequently hilarious, often shocking, but always accurate retelling of the Bible, including the parts selectively left out by Sunday School teachers.

Story
Charles Dickens wrote The Life of Our Lord around the same time he was finishing up David Copperfield, but to listeners raised on a diet of Dickensian wit and indignation, his rendering of Jesus' life may come as something of a surprise. You won't find even the shadow of a Micawber or a Mrs. Gamp anywhere in this brief volume; no Pecksniffs, Podsnaps, or Mulberries, either.

Story
Most people have heard of the Celts - the elusive, ancient tribal people who resided in present-day England, Ireland, Scotland and France. Paradoxically characterized as both barbaric and innocent, the Celts appeal to the modern world as a symbol of a bygone era, a world destroyed by the ambition of empire and the spread of Christianity throughout Western Europe. Despite the pervasive cultural and literary influence of the Celts, shockingly little is known of their way of life and beliefs, because very few records of their stories exist.

Good Book is what happens when a regular guy actually reads the book on which his religion, his culture, and his world are based. Along the way, he grapples with the most profound theological questions: Does God prefer obedience or good deeds? And the most unexpected ones: Why are so many women in the Bible prostitutes? Why does God love bald men so much? Is Samson really that stupid? Good Book is an irreverent, enthralling journey through the world's most important work of literature.

Story
Lazarus occupies a surprising position in the Gospel accounts. Widely known as the man Jesus raised from the dead, his story is actually much broader and richer than that. Living as he did at Bethany, near Jerusalem, Lazarus was uniquely placed to witness the swirl of events around Jesus. When Jesus Wept, the first novel in The Jerusalem Chronicles series by best-selling authors Bodie and Brock Thoene, unfolds the turbulent times in Judea during Jesus' ministry, centering on the friendship between Jesus and Lazarus.

Story
Do you know that the Sumerians believed that: The moon was actually a god child conceived unintentionally by the God Enlil and a maid? Or that humans were first created to do the chores on earth for the Gods and Goddesses? The ancient Sumerians lived a difficult life, and this is reflected in their myths. However, also reflected in their stories is their love for justice and the values which they most supported, among them beauty, honor, and truthfulness.

I really like this one
I have a kid that is very smart compared to all his classmates, and I had him listen to this book and he really liked these quizzes a lot, I am even thinking about letting my younger son listen to this book as well as I think that might make him grow more and possibly even get up to the level of his brother. This is a great audiobook if you want your kids to get challenged and grow. I really love it!

Inspiring and perfect for kids
We seem to live in a modern world where people are increasingly losing meaning in life. Where family values and god have taken a back seat to identity politics and tribalism. What's so amazing about books like this is that it brings back these traditional values to children and to grow up with good morals and a healthy relationship with god. The book of genesis is such a vital part of biblical history. From the creation to Adam and eve to God's relationship with Abraham, the story of Cain and Abel and the importance of how Joseph treated his brothers, there are so many stories told that have a huge significance in today's world. There are valuable lessons that children can learn from a young age that will help develop them into decent human beings with the right morals and values. Doing the book in a quiz format is the perfect way to make learning both educational and fun! The Author clearly has so much knowledge and passion for god and the narration is clear and relatable. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to help their child forge a loving and healthy relationship with our lord and saviour.

Loaded with questions!
Wow, I was surprised how many questions were included in this book. It covers SO MUCH, especially from new King James. Some questions have straightforward multiple choice answers, and some require thought and conversation (you’ll really be able to connect with your kiddo over some of these!). My kid doesn’t exactly love bible study, but this helps make it more interesting — and fun!

Great audible
This audible provides a real in-depth cross-section of questions about God which we found to be at a suitable level for my son. The audible was easy to follow with questions and answers clearly stated in the chapter sections. My son was able to learn a lot about God, who he is, his relationships with humanity and his love. We found that our son took in a lot of the information presented and found the audible enjoyable and informative. Would highly recommend for parents wanting to introduce questions and answers about God to their child.
