Listen to these shorts and immerse yourself in the men of Blackwater and their personal life. Find out what makes them tick, ignite, and explode in these sensual stories of passion and sacrifice.

Blackwater Savior is a short story, the beginning of Spooky and Mia.

Two years ago, Mia Sheridan’s face lay plastered on missing person flyers, CNN, and other various news outlets. She was one among six other missing women from the Clearwater area, neither a trace nor a hair left behind. Abducted, beaten and sold, Mia has finally come to terms with the certainty that she will die her only concern is when that time will come.

Road Captain and eight-year vet with the Blackwater Renegades, Spooky is tasked with convincing a monster to sign divorce papers. He expected blood and mayhem, but what he found instead was Mia Sheridan, whose eyes held an innocence, unlike anyone he'd seen before. SpookyHe never bought the notion of love at first sight - lust at first taste was more like it - but the honey-eyed woman with a subtle glint of defiance in her eyes is a fighter, and that he can respect. When Spooky takes a solemn vow to protect her, he finds himself in over his head, but right where he belongs.

Strong subject with great happy ending.

One thing I love, it's revenge well served. Most cases of human trafficking go under reported and passed as simple kidnappings or missing persons. It no longer shocks me; but angers me. I was afraid; as I tend to read from time to time, books that make me uncomfortable. Happy ending (bloody one) made me smile peacefully, knowing the monster got what was coming to him.

Oh, the narration!!! One great voice actor. I have purchased in past works by him (collection folder). Let me tell you, that end was perfect! Deep voice made for one macabre revenge sweet! Yes! ✊

bring on the next book!

This is my first book by this author. Now I'm eager for more. It's a great IR romance, one without intercourse but, instead, a small, incomplete act of sexual pleasure for the female (not cunnilingus, but right area). This book gives a glimpse of the start of a romance, maybe. I love that the author gives the right amount of attention to the physical aspects of the characters without that being the focus or the main reason for their attraction. The beginning connection between the H and h is believable, not love-at-first-sight or insta-love. And the story is is an interesting take on biker love. One unlikely to be found in many books, if at all. Refreshing.
But there's a cliffhanger. So I'm waiting with baited breath for the next book in this series. And, hopefully, the same narrator will continue. He did a great job, and that's saying something. He managed to do an adequate job as a black woman. This is due, in part, to the way this author wrote about the character. Again, the focus on the inner aspects of the characters and not their bodies and looks made such a big difference, along with the characters not being flawless physically.

Enticing!

This quick listen certainly has whet my appetite for the Blackwater series. Mia is in a situation that is more than dangerous, and when Spooky gets a hold of her, he is not going to let go. He vows to protect her, but at what cost? This short is powerful, very visual and full of emotion. It's just enough background to entice me to want to see what is going to happen with these two, as there are all kinds of possibilities. Bring it on, I am ready! Narrated by the talented Michael Pauley, his voice adds that element of danger and suspense. He gives Spooky an accent to make you melt and made this so worth the listen!

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend it . I can't wait to hear more of their story. It was too short and I wish it was longer. I really like those BWMCs.
