Beckett: If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. Slow to get into, but then very engaging
I had some difficulty getting into the first book, I didn’t like either of the main characters at first. Once I got further into it I ended up devouring the second half of book one and books two and three. I do like those couples better, but book one must be read first.
I look forward to continuing the series and seeing if my theory of what is wrong on the island is correct.

Shipwrecked Vikings
This an audiobook series set in 962AD , this is the first three books of the series. Each book was excellent. I listened to the stories back to back, but they could be read as a stand alone.
1. Tamed by the Viking-
Eldberg and Heda’s story
The first book does a bit of world building, setting the story line for the series. I appreciated the attention to detail to set this up accurately. I was able to envision the story, as if watching movie. Great job. There is an island of women and children. During this age, men were important to support, protect, and feed their families. Having an island of just women and children is a bit eerie. These women are fiercely independent, band together, and make things work. They can survive without the men, however, men are needed to procreate. A Viking ship washes ashore. Six of the Vikings managed to survive the ship wreck, and are found by these women. Different women take in one of the men to care for them. Since there are more women than men, they would take turns, a man living with a women for one month at a time. Heda is a bitter women, and takes it out on her captee. Heda takes in the ship’s Jarl. Honestly, I loved Heda! She is full of surprises, and a smart cookie! This was a good story, well written, and good character development.
2. Craved by the Viking
Gunnar and Frida’s story
Frida is different from the other women, and is a bit of the outsider. She has visions and reads runes. Gunnar was given to Frida to care for following the wreck. Frida is pretty innocent, and a virgin, when Gunnar came to her home. Her visions are telling her things, which she is hesitant to share. Gunnar has scruples and does not want to sully an innocent women. He is a gentle and patient man, not a soldier like the other Vikings. Thiers is a sweet story.
3. Surrendered to the Viking
Rangvald and Elin’s story
Rangvald was unconscious and seriously injured in the wreck. Elin is the village healer, and does her best to help Rangvald. Although unconscious, his body parts apparently work. Looking upon his delicious body day in and day out, she decides to help herself. That must be the magical touch, he wakes up, and holds her to finish the act. Being “used” is fine to Rangvald, as he sees women as “lesser” and only vessels for his pleasure. Elin is a kindhearted women. She dearly wants a child, will Rangvald comply?
Overall, all three books are excellent. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series. The narration was excellent, and enhanced the story. I received a free copy of the audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Sexy alpha Vikings, found ashore and nursed back to health by the islands inhabitants. This boxset contains 3 of the 6 stories of the vagaries of falling in love.

Viking romance
I really enjoyed these two characters and their journey. He is rough and dominant and she has spunk but willing to try and submit. She has a history that’s holding her back from falling for him. This is a must read and I can’t wait for book 4
