Publisher's summary

The Harriken have decided James Brownstone is an unacceptable dishonor to their clan.

This time, Grandfather has hired the best assassins in the business, and Shay knows them.

Shay won't allow Brownstone to go to Japan without backup.

Her backup.

Brownstone needs to decide what he will do with the wish, and how much is he going to tell Allison?

The Harriken may have paid the piper, but James Brownstone is calling the dance.

While this is happening, Tyler has made an unexpected alliance with the law.

Brownstone likes his life simple, but when the Harriken fail to call off the vendetta, Brownstone is willing to admit it will be either them or him.

NOTE: This book contains cursing. Perhaps humorous cursing, but cursing nevertheless. If this offends you, I don't suggest listening to this book.

Taking the hurt to the source

Thanks to Shay’s resources, they find out right away that the Harriken have now hired 5 of the top assassins to take out Brownstone. James and Shay take care of the first one who comes to the U.S. They decide to take the hurt to the other 4 in Tokyo.
Yes, Shay and James both acknowledge that there’s more than just bounty hunting and tomb raiding between them. Alison decides she wants to be adopted.
Great for those who enjoy a serial adventure.
Rudd does a great job with narration.

well this was abit wierd

You started the series of books with 1 person that did a good job, this one feels abit cheap or lack of effort by the narrator. and for me it did alot with the story
