Story took a while to get in to, but got better as the story continued. Looking forward to Book 2.

I enjoyed this book... There were a few tidbits I thought to be useful and it was generally entertaining. Looking forward to the second book.

The story isn't bad but the narrator was not the right fit for this genre. It is nice to know Keanu Reeves is still working but I was surprised to hear that he is now reading books for audible. OK, that's not true, Keanu Reeves is not the narrator but he does have a passable impression.

story was good....narration was whiny. ..nasally. .. sounded like a metrosexual urbanite who was about to argue with his boyfriend. about the choice of restaurant he had been lead to. Hardly the type of rugged man who would have been able to survive such a disaster

The author really does a good job with this in my view, the story is most interesting and certainly different from all the rest of this genre I enjoyed it. The characters are pretty good and you can start to really like some of them except the bad guys of course. Granted the main character is a bit naïve but nice guys do have that about them. I don’t see a second book [series] coming but would like it if there were.
