Jessie Black's successful prosecution of a serial murderer and rapist put her on the path to stardom at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. I like Xe Sands very much. Consequently, I searched for all of the books she has narrated.
I really loved "The Devil Wears Scrubs". PROBLEM:
Pronunciation of medical term ALS is aMYOtrophic , not " AMMOtrophic". MYO refers to muscle. AMMO is .... This story was very good.

I ordered this from the Plus catalog, and almost stopped reading after the first couple of chapters. I decided to stay with it, and I am very glad I did.
The characters are well-developed and it's hard to tell who are the good guys and the bad guys (mostly), which is one of the things that made the story so good.
The book has its share of surprises, making it hard to put down once I got into it.
Highly recommend.

This is an awesome book and I am glad to know it is a series and will continue. I love the characters and I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to the end. Can’t wait to start book 2!

Enjoyed listening to this audiobook…very difficult to put down. Moved very quickly from scene to scene. Sometimes it was hard to tell the characters were different.

I enjoy listening to the narrator XE Sands, so much so that I went looking to find books she narrated. Came upon this one, I’ve never read anything from this author but it had a good pace, storyline and suspense.

How did this book get so many 5 star reviews? The characters have no believability; their actions don't make any sense; the plot barely strings together. I got nothing from this and quit halfway through.
