About this listen

My imitation of our billionaire boss had everyone laughing. Well…almost everyone. Worst. Butt-dial. Ever!

Some faceless international billionaire owns the company where I work. They say he’s a notorious rake. A jet-set bad boy.

And…oops! I may have imitated him after a company wide conference call…which he heard, thanks to an unfortunate butt-dial.

Eep!

Apparently he’s been asking about the identity of the jokester, but I’m not worried; my co-workers will never tell—we’re a loyal family.

The furor dies down after a few weeks. Thank goodness, because I have my hands full with this lazy, arrogant new office gopher.

He has the worst work ethic I’ve ever seen—how did he even get hired? He’s nosy about the butt-dial, and he has the office skills of a rabbit. It’s as if he’s never held a job in his life.

He’s also wickedly sexy, but there’s no way I’m ever kissing him again. I like respectable men with a work ethic, thank you very much.

Also, I can’t shake the feeling that he’s hiding something.

Standalone listen! The romcom books in this series are set in the same world. Each can be listened to as a pure standalone with a guaranteed happily ever after.

Yay, it's Jada's turn for an HEA! I love this series so much, and this one is a contender for the top spot. I laughed so hard that I had to put my ereader down so I wouldn't drop it. For one thing, Jada lets her sass out, and she is hilarious. For another, Jaxon is such a fish out of water that I never knew what was coming next. His lunches -- LOL. Also, Jada's coworkers are adorably sincere and funny, and they really want to help Jaxon fit in while he is trying to not fit in. All of it comes together for wiping-tears-and-wheezing laughs. Both of the narrators did a terrific job with this story, and I had a great time listening.

I can't get enough.

This is the series that I want to go on FOREVER. Neva Nevarre and John Lane bring Annika's words to life in such a way that the story feels like magic. I can't get enough!

undercover boss

A grumpy billionaire owner of an inherited company, wants to find out who called back after an important company wide phone conference. Who would mock him like that?
the only way is to go undercover.
He is out if his element working as a delivery driver. He has his hands full with one lady. The office cheerleader trying to break thru his walls, that he built up throughout his life.
i enjoyed the comarderie, banter and the love between the workers,. trying to save a sinking business. Someone is frying to sabatage at every step.
John Lane and Neva Navarre bring this story to Life. They perfectly performed each character, giving their own voices and personalities

Loved It!

The humor and awkwardness that ensue are the highlight of the novel, making it a perfect read for anyone looking for a good laugh.

The chemistry between Gwen and the new office gopher, Andrew, is entertaining. The author does an excellent job of creating tension between Gwen and Leo, which adds an exciting element to the story.

This is a fun and entertaining read that will keep you laughing from start to finish. It's the perfect book for if you’re looking looking for a light and humorous romantic comedy.

Another winner

I love all the books in this series, so sweet, funny and lighthearted and also not insta-lovey either. Hope she keeps writing more.

Frank the Cactus saves the day

I almost turned this off three hours in. Compared to the rest of the series, there’s not as much humor or heat, two things that were vitally important in order for me to roll with the eyeroll. The sex wasn’t particularly sexy (1 handsy scene and 2 get togethers super late), even if the role play thing was a bit fun. I didn’t care for Jack, who is a spoiled playboy until the end. At least the previous billionaires worked hard, whether they started out rich or not. I didn’t like how Jada let everyone walk all over her and forgave Jack in seconds once his deceptions are revealed.

But, I stuck it out. The comedy around Frank the “he’s not dead” Cactus got me through the middle part (not to mention the heart squeeze at the end). Then, in the final third, the gals and Antonio from the previous books add some punch.

I found the “he’s a billionaire who owns the company, but can’t save it” plot to be completely ridiculous. And hello? This far into the series, how many billionaire beaus do we have now connected with Jada’s girlfriends? You mean to tell me that they couldn’t pitch in to help? Sigh, forget common sense and accept the nonsense in order to support the grand gesture.

The only book in the series I liked less was book 3, whereas 2 and 4 rocked the ridiculous romance.
