Førhen var Niels Kristian bare endnu en drillesyg dreng, men da Camilla en dag fanger ham i at kigge interesseret på hende, begynder hun selv at mærke sommerfugle i maven og hjertebanken. Men én dreng kommer sjældent alene.
Den danske forfatter Lone Diana Jørgensen (f. 1947) har blandt andet skrevet en lang række ungdomsbøger. Hun er cand.mag. i dansk og teatervidenskab og var i en længere årrække klummeskribent i Berlingske Tidende. Lone Diana Jørgensen debuterede i 1985 med erindringsromanen "Ikke to i én stol! - En personlig beretning om min ufuldstændige barndom". Camilla går i 7. klasse, da vi møder hende første gang. Vi følger hende gennem de mange fantastiske, men også hjerteknusende oplevelser, hun har med drenge i løbet af sine spæde teenageår.
