Second book by Mike Mathews

This is my second audible book by Mike Mathews. I’m really enjoying his books so far and looking forward to reading the original; I guess I went backwards. The narration is enjoyable to listen the the content is not only simple and effective, but accessible to all types of people from all walks of life. I’m fortunate to have had access to this material.

Excellent coverage of a total body transformation

This short book packs a whole lot digestible rich and dense information. It's focus is on covering fat loss and various way of understanding what and why so one can achieve his or her fitness transformation goals.

I’m a big fan of Mike Matthews so this review might be biased but his material is top notch. The only thing that could’ve made this audiobook better was if it was him talking.

great book

seriously, the best book on cardio, diet, loosing weight, and not muscle, I've ever read. it has clear, science-backed, advise and rules to accomplishing all of the above mentioned things. plus it has some great ideas for cardio that aren't your traditional cardio. and if that isn't enough for you there is some awesome bonus material.

It works!

I'm a 30 year old woman & have already been doing some of Michael Matthews advice. I tried some things in this book new to me, so far it all works. I love the no nonsense, no drug, science backed, natural facts, food, & workout advice. It works. Michael Matthews is telling the truth. Im currently 24% body fat on my way below 20%.

He has done his homework

Any additional comments?

The ONLY complaint I could possibly think of was that he hints that the body immediately burns fat after digestion has completed, roundabout. The body actually uses glycogen stores in the liver as fuel for a while which could be up to 24hours or so depending on the person. Only after those stores are depleted the body then looks to break down fat. Also the calories in must be less than calories 'out' is still highly debated. The body will treat 100 calories of olive oil a lot differently than it will treat 100 calories of sugar. But those are nit picks. I did like the book a lot. Gave everything a structure and found new ideas for workouts.

amazing

Like most people I would watch YouTube videos Look at Instagram fitness models and try to repeat or interpret what they would do in order to have a great physique And stay lean. this book Is amazing and teaches you a lot more than any YouTube video I've ever seen.

take notes

at first it seems easy to follow. but in a good way he starts throwing numbers at u like a teacher in class and it's hard to remember simply by memory..it's so way worth it tho
