A dash of magic and a dollop of steampunk

That was delightfully odd, and just a touch dark as Persephone sorts through her grandmother’s effects, unearthing secrets. I loved the way it also told a story of family: the good, the bad, and the strange.
This was more on the magic realism end, so those looking for lots of action and hocus pocus may be disappointed. It’s a cozy level mystery with no cussing or sex.
