And that is the reading of the character sheet at the end of each chapter probably great to have in the printed book but just annoying in an audio book

Why is there a need to put stats at every end of each chapter?? Everything else was great .

I enjoyed the ostensible very much. The protagonist was quite fun to play the game along with and he kept the surprises coming. Excellent idea to use stat points instead of EXP, very original! This was a great story I would recommend to any fan of Lit RPG. I’ll definitely pick up #2.

Most books you can guess what happens next, this one threw in a couple of surprises at me that left me wanting more. My only gripe is that the next one is not available yet. Keep them coming Castle! Great narration by Hays too!!

totally freaking amazing. challenge is my favorite lit rpg book everrr
possibly my number one book ever!!! , holy holy crapola he nailed it! the flux between real world and Virtual reality blow my mind!!! true depth to both, usually the real world is Just garbage in other little rpg novels!! score?! can't wait for book 2 I'm in for the long haul on this series

The main in game story is a great story but the true tale is what happened and will happen in the real world. The end of this book left me wanting to know what comes next more than any of the hundreds of other books I've read ten fold. Funny, twisted, intriguing and ingenious. Well played.

Another LITRPG Masterpiece. This book in particular started slow, however by chapter 5 or so i wss hooked. finished it in 2 days. i am anxiously waiting for the second book.
