About this listen
"Take them to Texas, gentlemen!"
In a day and age where reliance on cellphones, computers, cable, and fast food is essential, how many people actually have the chance to step back in time to experience a bit of our Western heritage? Charley Sunday's Texas Outfit!, a lighthearted, present-day yarn for the entire family, offers a unique glimpse into our Western history.
Charley Sunday, a sensible, sober-minded Texas grandfather, imparts the American Cowboy legacy to his only grandchild as he and several of his grizzled cronies concoct a 1,000-mile longhorn cattle drive across 21st Century America. Four leathery cowboys, one insightful Indian, two strong-willed women, a two-gun oddball, a dog, and a little boy make an unlikely team as they trek from Colorado to Texas, continually running up against the forces of corruption. Finding salvation from the most unlikely sources, this rip-roarin' tale of faith versus greed will touch your heart, and take you back to a time where the lines between right and wrong were defined by bravery and honor.
Performed by Ken Jackson, Bob Payne, Matthew McGee, Tim Carlin, Todd Scofield, J W Rone, Jacob Yeh, Karen Novack, Lily Beacon, James Konicek, Drew Kopas, Brit Herring, Gregory Gorton, Thomas Keegan, Jeff Allin, Andy Brownstein, Joe Brack, James Lewis, Mort Shelby, Jonathan Watkins, Richard Rohan, Colleen Delany, Jonathon Church, Terence Aselford, Michael John Casey, Scott McCormick, Nanette Savard, Dylan Lynch.

Story
He was a tough enforcer for a New York gang. But when young Tom Shanaghy made one too many enemies, he skipped town on a fast-moving freight. He landed in a small Kansas town that had big dreams, no name, and the need for an honest lawman. Tom figured that a knuckle-and-skull man from Five Points would be perfect for the job. He didn't know that a high-stakes cattle drive was headed his way and that leading it was a vindictive rancher bent on settling an old score.

Story
Trust was rare and precious in the wide-open towns that sprung up like weeds on America's frontier - with hustlers and hucksters arriving in droves by horse, coach, wagon, and rail, and gunmen working both sides of the law, all too eager to end a man's life with a well-placed bullet. The New York Times best-selling grand master of suspense deftly displays the other side of his genius, with seven classic Western tales of destiny and fatal decision...and trust as essential to survival as it is hard-earned.

Story
Tommy Lee, not quite 18, shows up at a real cow outfit the morning after his high school graduation ceremony. He is long on cowboy skills but short on social skills, and his job on the Cow Creek Ranch will put him in situations he's not prepared to deal with. Wanting to make a hand and be somebody, Tommy throws in with some very experienced older men who aren't afraid to use their knowledge and expertise to gain wealth quickly. There is nothing far-fetched about this story - you might even say it's dangerously close to the truth.

Charlie's Cattle Drive
In this book Charlie buys a herd of longhorns and he can't get them shipped home. So they decide to drive them the old fashion way. They run into every problem you can imagine. I thought it was a well written book. It held my interest. There was a lot of action. This is a movie in your mind style of book with several narrators. (Dramatized).
