I could not put this book down. The story is wonderfully told based on discerning research. Charlotte Bronte comes alive.

exceptional!!!!!! History Eloquence

wow... having being forced as a pupil in SA at an all girls private boarding school, I lament at my VERY belated interest in such RICH and entertaining Authors!!! such an amazing account, so PERFECTLY scribed and BEAUTIFULLY narrated.. . Claire Harman...WELL DONE and THANK YOU!
