About this listen

A weekend getaway. A charming present. Will this psychic sleuth find a suitor on the slopes?

Mitzy Moon plans to take a break from snooping and learns to ski. And after receiving a mysterious gift from her travel companion, she feels light as a feather, but her heart goes stiff as a board when she faceplants into a corpse.

Racing back to the bookshop to consult her otherworldly helpers, Mitzy is horrified to discover her meddling Ghost-ma is missing. Her spoiled feline seems to ignore her pleas, and her alchemist attorney isn’t answering either. She can’t decide if she’s lost her powers or her mind….

Can Mitzy solve a murder without her extrasensory perceptions, or will one misstep put her in the killer’s crosshairs?

Charms and Firearms is the fifth book in the hilarious paranormal cozy mystery series, Mitzy Moon Mysteries. If you like snarky heroines, supernatural intrigue, and a dash of romance, then you’ll love Trixie Silvertale’s twisty whodunits.

Another Winner for the Mitzy Moon Series!

Charms & Firearms

Listening to this series on audio has been such a great experience. Mitzy’s character is really growing into her role, exploring her abilities and learning that even paranormal talents must be developed through practice and study. A missing priceless book, an old family feud and a vacation weekend that goes haywire all come together to keep the action moving and the reader guessing.

Once again, the narration is spot on. Coleen Marlo is by far the best narrator I have listened to varying her tone and speech patterns to distinguish each character. The residents of Pin Cherry Harbor in Almost Canada feel like family, and the Bell, Book & Candle feels like home. Another win for the Mitzy Moon series!

Wonderful!!

The narrator of this has done an amazing job. Between such a gifted author, whose books are amazing and quite addictive, having them put to audible just makes them that much more enjoyable. Ms. Marlo has done a wonderful job in narrating a great book.

Love This Series

I loved Charms and Firearms! The characters are so fun and entertaining. I just imagine the wonderful bookstore and the special key! I love the spunk that Trixie Silvertale gives the main character Mitzi. If you haven't read any of the others in the series, you can pretty much get caught up with this one! Trixie Silvertale give her characters such great personalities, while you are trying to solve the mystery along with Mitzi! I would recommend this book.

The perfect addition to your holiday preparations!

Yay! Mitzy Moon is back on audio and Coleen Marlo does another fantastic job of bringing my favorite Pin Cherry residents to life.

Mitzy gives a gala in the bookstore she inherited to benefit the local animal shelter and during the event a very rare book disappears from the special collection of Archana.

Rory Bombay is the prime suspect and he has a date for a weekend getaway with Mitzy. Will he turn out to be as charming and thoughtful as he appears, or is he up to no good? Mitzy is away from her friends in Pin Cherry so it looks like she's going to have to figure this out on her own. Did Rory steal the book? Will he steal her heart? Could there be something far more sinister in Rory's plan for the weekend?
Even if you've already read this book, you don't want to miss this chance to revisit your friends from Pin Cherry while you get ready for the holidays. This audio version is the perfect addition to crafting, cooking or snuggling by the fire with your favorite fur-baby.

Addicting Story 5/5 MITZY MOON MYSTERIES

Trixie Silvertale ---You have a winner with the “MITZY MOON MYSTERIES”. I am hooked and want them to go on and on.

Excellent and interesting characters. Setting is to die for (pun intended). The action and feeling developed during the story are addicting.

I started with the first book to give it a listen. Then I bought the next 3. Now I’m back for the rest ----KEEP THEM COMING!

Applause to Trixie Silvertale and narrator Coleen Marlo----What a great team.

A favorite

I love this series. The narrator is wonderful and really highlights the humor. This particular book kept me guessing all the way and the twist made me cheer.

The only negative is that it had to end. I'm looking forward to the next audiobook in this series.

Love this series

I love this series. I love the paranormal/magical aspects - Mitzi is learning more about her abilities which sometimes get her into more trouble. I love the quirky characters - Mitzi's ghostma, Piwackett the cat (nod to the movie Bell Book and Candle), the book store, Silas,Odell's cafe and the two love interests for Mitzi - the Sheriff and Rory Bombay. So poor Mitzi stumbles on another body, gets nosy, almost gets killed herself and deals with the attention of two rivals. Who will it be? Some funny moments, tension and magical powers make this a fun listen. Colleen M does a great job with all of the different voices. I received a free copy and voluntarily provided this review.
