It’s caused by the way we use our bodies every day - the way we sit, the way we stand, the way we walk and run. But with simple exercises, anybody can learn to heal their chronic musculoskeletal pain, and prevent future pain, injury, and joint problems from developing.

MUST READ
I am a social worker and have worked with individuals suffering from chronic pain for the last seven years. I also train other healthcare professionals on holistic interventions for pain management. Since reading this book, I have been able to use many of the principles in psychotherapy sessions with patients who greatly benefit. My favorite section is the DIM/SIM messaging. This book is affordable and easy to read. I often recommend that my patient's support systems read it to understand the neuroscience behind chronic pain and learn alongside their loved ones. Thank you, Dr. Parks, for writing this much-needed book.

Easy to Understand
This book is very easy to understand and I appreciated the personal stories mixed in with the medical explanations of what happens with chronic pain and how to better manage/rewire the body's response to it. The presenter's voice is also easy on the ears. Recommend listening to a few chapters at a time. If you already understand chronic pain, you can start with Chapter 10 to learn how to get out of the cycle of pain.

Don’t bother
To me, this book was the most worthless bookI have ever read regarding how to manage chronic pain. The information in this book has been written about over and over and over. Nothing new. Save your money.
