Excellent 1986 novel with great narration

Cinderella is the third Ed McBain novel I've listened to recently. This legal/detective thriller from the Matthew Hope series is the best of the three. Like other Matthew Hope series novels it is set in Florida and it deals with the sale and purchase of illegal drugs. It is amazing how far political correctness has taken our out culture in 30 years; Cinderella consistently and repeatedly egregiously violates current PC standards, far more so than Donald Trump did during the recent presidential election campaign.

Cinderella is an excellent and clever story and it is likely the best Ed McBain I have read. It is well worth the time and cost.
