About this listen

I swore I’d never fall for an enemy, but now… I’ve fallen for them all.

The Savages are ruthless on ice and downright coldhearted in every other way. They once promised to ruin me—and came incredibly close to succeeding—but our hearts have aligned, and my secrets are theirs, too.

Tragedy has again darkened my world, leaving me afraid of my own shadow. I swear there’s danger lurking around every corner. Still, these four have vowed to protect me at all costs.

Whoever did this is about to learn a valuable lesson.

The only thing worse than messing with a Savage… is messing with their girl.

2nd book cashed the check the 1st book wrote!

Many times the 1st book is awesome and sets up expectations to be fulfilled in the next book and beyond....but what happens is the 2nd book is a dud then it's all down hill from there. In the case of this series that is definitely not the case! If anything it makes me crave more! I've read or listened to some raunchy stuff and although the spice level in this book wasn't spectacularly high it was tastefully done and it was twice what we saw in the 1st book. There was actual hockey scenes in this book unlike the first and they were so-so. Raya Kane is one of the best female performers that I've heard in audible books; that scene where Stevie confronts her mother blew me out of the water! And again I laughed at her Dahlia performance. Overall I think that the character development is amazing! I love that Stevie grew closer with and expanded her harem of hot guys..and the mystery of her sister's suicide is still ongoing....ready for book 3!

4 starz - worthy of a repeat listen

Cold as Ice

Cold as Ice is the second book in the Savage Kings of Bradwyn U series. This is book two in a Dark Bully, RH, hockey romance. This book starts off right, where Break the Girl, ends off and should be read after it.

This is the continuation of Stevie, Ash, Vince, Micah, and Tate's story.

Stevie is still under the guy's hold, but they start to ease up when they realize not everything is as it seems. Stevie is still trying to find answers and will stop at nothing to get them.

So much happens in this book. Secrets come out, feelings evolve, and so much more! I loved getting to know all of the characters more, especially the guys, and seeing all of their bonds get stronger.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

Finally got to the hockey

This is not my usual genre to read but I’m still enjoying the mystery aspect that was added since the first book. Still waiting on Enzo to join the reverse harem, I won’t consider a HEA unless she gets ALL the boys.
