Publisher's summary

A walk in the park, online connections, and dangerous discoveries.

When the cybersecurity expert who checked out Stacie’s computer turns up dead, Stacie and her good friend and IT whiz, Trina, find themselves entangled in the ensuing murder investigation. Who killed Sam and why? Was the motive personal or was Sam silenced because he discovered potentially illegal activity as part of a client’s routine security audit?

With Stacie at her side, Trina reaches out to other tech people who knew Sam in an effort to connect the dots and, in the process, places both women in the sights of a killer.

Short!

This book was short but still managed to build up a strong plot and developed characters. A great listen.

Entertaining, Engaging and Enjoyable!

A walk in the park turns deadly when Staci hears a shot fired! As she tries to aid the victim, she’s stunned to find he’s none other than Sam, the cybersecurity expert who checked out her computer! Before Detective O’Hare can say “stay out of it Staci”, she finds herself smack dab in the middle of another homicide investigation! Beautifully written with humor, mystery, suspense, realistic dialogue and a divine attention to detail and continuity, Connections, Conflict & Murder held my attention and kept me throughly engaged from beginning to end! I love the delightfully realistic and engaging cast of characters! I love how the recurring characters grow and change as the series progresses and how new, fully developed characters are constantly being added as well! I really love the timeliness of the plot! I can’t give details without playing spoiler, but give a listen and you’ll see what I mean! You won’t even need headphones for this appropriate for all audio! The narration is fantastic and truly brings the characters and action to life! I really enjoyed everything about this one! Five fabulous stars!

Tech Intrigue and murder

Connection, Conflict & Murder is #4 in the Stacie Maroni Mystery series by Christa Nardi. This story involves high tech cybersecurity problems and low tech solution of murder. Stacie and her friend / co-worker in IT, Trina are targeted when a cybersecurity contractor is killed in a local park. He had fixed Stacie’s work computer and she found him dead, and he was Trina’s friend and mentor. The story is interesting and engaging with twists and turns. I love the characters, they’re the kind of people you wish were your co-workers and friends. Stacie’s still trying to decide on whether to make a career change and go back to school for an advanced degree. The narration by Naomi Rose-Mock is wonderful. Her performance creates unique voices for the characters so its easy to distinguish them. She brings the story and characters to life.

dark intentions discovered

Another great suspenseful and intriguing mystery that Stacie gets involved in. I enjoyed this twisted trail to its conclusion. Interesting and engaging characters with a storyline that kept me listening. Hope Stacie gets her head together soon. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.
