Publisher's summary

Have you always wanted to learn how to speak German but simply didn't have the time?

Well if so, then, look no further. You can hold in your hands one of the most advanced and revolutionary methods ever designed for quickly becoming conversational in a language. In creating this time-saving program, master linguist Yatir Nitzany spent years examining the 27 most common languages in the world and distilling from them the 350 words that are most likely to be used in real conversations. These 350 words were chosen in such a way that they were structurally interrelated and, when combined, form sentences. Through various other discoveries about how real conversations work - discoveries that are detailed further in this book - Nitzany created the necessary tools for linking these words together in a specific way so that you may become rapidly and almost effortlessly conversant - now.

If your desire is to learn complicated grammatical rules or to speak perfectly proper and precise German, this book is not for you. However, if you need to actually hold a conversation while on a trip to Germany, to impress that certain someone, or to be able to speak with your grandfather or grandmother as soon as possible, then the Nitzany Method is what you have been looking for. This method is designed for fluency in a foreign language, while communicating in the present tense. Nitzany believes that what's most important is actually being able to understand and be understood by another human being right away. More formalized training in conjugation, tense, grammar rules, and the like can all come later. The nominative, accusative, dative, genitive, and possessive cases are an integral part of the German grammar; however, this program will not teach you these skills. The only thing this book offers are the necessary tools to become conversational in a foreign language in record time.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Brilliant, Fast, Very Dense

This is an excellent compact course for the student who understands English well and is willing to memorize. English majors and those who already speak a bit of another language can be conversational in a few weeks. A pdf document is available so you can print all lessons, then read what you hear ... good for focused study.

Narrator Kathrin Kana has a very consistent clear voice and lovely diction in both languages, essential for these lessons because there is no wasted space at all ... example phrases and sentences follow one another without a break. So thank you, Ms. Kana, for your great work.

Literary types will love the sly example sentences ... some are so smart and so funny that I yank out my earbuds laughing. Mr. Nitzany's German course is delicious brain candy!

German

I started out with the Duolingo app on my phone recently, but then I realized how much better this program was.

Repetition of words and key verbs

I listened to this audio 3 or 4 times all the way through. I then conveniently went back through sections of vocabulary. My German was restored in about three weeks. Thinking about trying the Spanish version.
