About this listen

Lost. Stolen. Forgotten...until the Alphabits step in.

Gizmo Jones has an obsession with technology, and he doesn’t care who knows it. The smarter, more connected, and shinier it is, the better. When Gizmo and Ozzy are sent to the backwoods of West Virginia, the worst Gizmo thinks he’ll face is a couple of rednecks trying to shoot down one of his fleet of drones. He doesn’t expect to run smack dab into a cult masquerading as a summer camp who are determined to separate shifter kids from their animal sides.

Caleb Brooks had been one of those kids once. He’d escaped by pretending he was “cured”, and then holing up in the middle of the woods with no connection to technology, shifting freely, but staying close, because he couldn’t abandon the kids still trapped there.

The Alphabits know they need to bring the law down on the camp, but they aren’t the only ones coming for them. STAHP is on the loose and where they prowl...mayhem follows.

The Alphabits aren’t vigilantes. These former soldiers and officers of the law have to do things by the book - even when it tears them apart to do so. But once all their ducks are in a row, the bad guys had better beware! You do not want this team of protective alphas on your tail.

This is the third in the Alphabits series and you can expect to find naughty, knotty scenes of steamy passion, along with a lot of potty-mouth language, and some violence. Prepare for the return of your favorite cat shifters, two best friends who will do anything for each other, and more surveillance equipment than the NSA. HEA definitely included, intended for 18 and older listeners only. Seriously, would you expect anything less from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown?

Great!

Thoroughly enjoyed this short audio from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown! I haven't read all of these in order so it took me a minute to catch up but once I figured out who everyone was, I really enjoyed it! John Solo is becoming one of my favorite narrators! He did a great job with this one!

Gizzmo gets his HEA

Gizzmo, the resident tech guru, meets his mate and soon realizes that Caleb has lived in the woods far from tech since his escape from the same camp they were checking out. As Caleb adjusts to life and figuring out the rocket ship that Gizzmo calls a microwave, the two face those that were behind the camp and helping the children. This was another wonderful story and I cannot wait for more. These two authors create worlds that are fantastic and the narrator brings them to life.

Another great addition

This was a really great addition to the series. It is a bit difficult to listen to the descriptions of how STAHP takes care of the bad guys but in this book, it is tempered with getting to experience them high on catnip.

Micah is a great addition to the family, despite him living as a hermit for so many years. It is kinda funny to pair him up with the techie of the group but they are great together. Lucky for Micah, Gizmo has a big family to give him all the support he never had while saving children.

I look forward to the next one.

Gizmo and Micah are terrific!

I loved the contrasts of this story. The narration was good and really brought the story to life for me. Gizmo our resident geek and Micah the man living off the grid but both are fighting to save the children. I love the honesty between these guys and how kind they are to each other. Their connection is steamy and they are so cute together.

Learning to operate a microwave and navigate a huge family are challenging for Micah and i love how Gizmo is gentle, loving and supportive. The sharing of family information was fun and learning Gizmo was a nickname was really sweet.

I founds so many parts of this story very cute from catnip to meeting the in-laws. There were lots of special moments with the kids that will break your heart and mend it all over again.

A good addition to the Alphabits series

Caleb lives an isolated life in the woods near a "conversion" camp. As an escapee himself, he now is the first step in an "underground railroad" type of group that rescues runaways. These camps are designed to teach young shifters that their animal sides are evil, and they must learn to suppress that part of themselves.

Gizmo is an electronics guy. When he gets involved, he has no idea what he is getting into. He runs his drones around the camp to find out what is going on with the kids and the adults in charge.

When a rogue team of shifters gets involved, things get dangerous. Gizmo and Caleb meet, and immediately know they are mates, but Caleb has never been around people or modern technology.

Once the danger is resolved, Caleb and Gizmo are free to get on with their lives and we get our HEA.

John Solo did a great job with the narration as usual.
