One of his best!

I believe this was one of his best!
A solid plot, fast action, good narrator and the book held my attention for all the above reasons.

At first I wasn’t sure

When the book 1st started, I was uncertain if it was going to be a good one. But in typical James Patterson style, it grabbed me pretty quickly and held me all the way through. Fun, story and lots of intrigue. Easy to stay engaged. Another good one.

Disappointing

Not a typical JP thriller. Story left me with wasted time feeling. I don’t recommend it for Patterson fans.

Surprise decisions.

I liked that each step was not predictable. Thereby making a quick decision re the outcome was thwarted.

Completely Unsatisfying

I never leave reviews on books, but the way this book concluded I felt it is my civic duty to save someone the time of reading it. The ending was so unsatisfying, and it could’ve been handled in a variety of ways that would’ve made it much more entertaining. The plot and characters relied heavily on worn out tropes that you can read in any modern spy novel. Nothing new to see here. Disappointing. That said, Ellen Archer did an excellent job with narration as usual.

Intense

I am always looking for and rarely finding stories about tough soldier women. This was great fun and well done by the writers and the narrator. I hope there's a sequel, we need more of these strong women characters.

Great story

Best James Patterson story in awhile. Very suspenseful and engaging. I hope that they make a series of the CIA operative.

Not the author's best work.

The writing was uneven. The storyline was choppy. The entire story plot was dubious.
Female narrators often become a bit screechy trying to read exciting parts.
The main character is a woman. That's about all that was accomplished in this book.

Thrilling

All of Mr Pattersons books grab you from the beginning to the end. This one I couldn’t stop listening to.
