Publisher's summary

Having done the impossible and walked out of hell, Vincent Corinthos sets his sights on saving Megan and bringing down Treggen once and for all. Captured by rogue agents, Vincent finds himself cut off from agency support and must escape from HQ. As he prepares to rescue Megan, events take an unexpected turn when Vincent learns Treggen has stolen an amulet from a Caulborn vault - an amulet that Vincent has only ever known from comic books...

As Vincent squares off against Treggen one last time, prophecies will be fulfilled, former allies will betray Vincent, and the Caulborn agency itself will turn on him. With only a few of his friends to rely on, and most of his powers gone, Vincent will have to be more than just clever - he’ll need to be courageous.

I'm sad to see it end!

I've really enjoyed the Caulborn series, and I hope the author continues to write in this world. This series is Urban Fantasy at its finest. I've recommended the series to my dad and brother, who both enjoy this genre. The narrator was awesome, and the story was great.

GOOD .

This sounds like an ending to the series. It was a good one. Vincent and his friends fought valiantly to rid the worst enemy yet. I like the action and the witty dialogue among the team. An unforeseen ally came to help at the peak of the fight. Very well done. Nicholas Olivo and Ian McEuen make a good team too. Well written and performed.

I'm a hero, dammit!

A fantastic end to the Caulborn series. Every, and I mean every, plot point resolved, even the ones I forgot about 😅.

Wish the series did not end with this book

As with the rest of the caulborn novels, this was a lot of fun and he tied up things fairly well. However, there was so much more to follow and I hope he does a spin off soon.
