About this listen
In a world where your personality determines your magic, no man has ever wielded the power of the green stone. Until one day, 16-year-old Jaxon creates one. His new abilities could be exactly what he needs to save his brother.
To master the magic of the stone, Jaxon leaves his kingdom behind in search of a teacher. His path crosses with the fiery Quinn, a red stone bearer doing everything she can to protect the princess, her best friend.
As a series of murders plague the kingdom, Jaxon and Quinn find themselves caught up in unraveling the truth behind the attacks. The more clues they find, the more the danger grows. They soon stumble across long-hidden secrets that could throw the world as they know it into chaos.

Amazing
Incredible story! That Greg has got to be my favorite character, he could have his own series. Can’t wait for book 2!!

Love Magic
This story talks about the different stone bearers and of Jaxon who created a green stone but does not know how he did it. This story has adventure and danger in it along with a secret that Jaxon is keeping. I loved this story.

Fun but light on plot
N.B. I received a free copy of this book via the author. It was a fun, engaging story, but I felt it was more of a picture into the lives of the characters rather than something with an overarching plot. A bunch of friends and acquaintances were among the alpha readers of the book and the author herself is an acquaintance/friend of friends. I look forward to the second book as I feel there was a good setup for a plot for the sequel, though.
