Book 4 - Buried

Her secret temptations could destroy everything that matters most.

The past five years have been about survival. Nothing matters to Etti and Grey but their daughter’s safety. They’ve done everything to bury their past and protect Izzi from the pack of outlaw shifter wolves hunting her. But some secrets are too big to stay hidden. Especially in a city like New Orleans.

The Crescent City is full of dark legends, and Izzi comes face-to-face with her own as the spell keeping her safe begins to unravel. Etti can no longer ignore her daughter’s fate when a mysterious and handsome vampire shows up at their doorstep speaking of prophecies and premonitions.

Greyson doesn’t trust the vampire to battle his bloodlust long enough to help his family, but Etti follows her heart and goes against her mate’s wishes, causing the dangerous worlds of wolves, vampires, and witches to collide.

Will bringing supernatural worlds together save Etti’s family or be her downfall?

Great Story with allot of Twists and Turns!

This review is on the Crescent city Wolves Series, Buried, Betrayed, Bitten, which is books 4 thru 6. The story continues where it left off in book 3, and again I really loved the true friendship connection between Etti and Wes, but there were also some parts that went so far off the rails, it was a struggle to continue listening, however it did get better.

In my opinion, Denise Krueger totally missed the mark on the voice of Greyston West! He sounds like a very young boy with a soft feminine voice that sounds like a boy going through puberty and I have to admit it was very distracting for me. However, she did a fantastic job on the paranormal characters! I loved the voices of the vampires, especially Malcom! she also did a great job on giving the perfect voice for the main corrupt witch, Cora! So, I will say that alone elevated this series and it became so much more enjoyable for me.

There were some parts of this book that I just did not like, but Bella Night did bring the series full circle and even though I would have preferred a little different ending, it was okay and left you with a good feeling on the characters you totally invest in.
