Publisher's summary

Five young warriors, one mission. Will they stand together or die alone?

Kodyn and Aisha are losing the battle to save the City of the Dead.

Stripped of rank and wealth, they must use all their wits, skill, and courage to survive the cruel streets of Shalandra and bring justice for their murdered protector.

Kodyn’s cunning and Aisha’s growing power over the dead are all that stands between them and an untimely end. New allies emerge to join their quest: a thief, an elite warrior-in-training, and a boy with ancient magical abilities.

They face a desperate clash against death cultists, bloodthirsty criminal gangs, and the most powerful politicians in the kingdom. But will their bonds of unity triumph against greed and cruelty, or will the kingdom crumble around them?

i feel like these books should be combined

these 7 hour stories should be combined 2 to 1... these are easy to short to spend credits on.. if they were doubled like books 1 and 2. 3 and 4 etc.. i could definitely see spending money on them.

meh

not to bad of a book subject to I am woman hear me roar and noble savage cliches that may make you roll your eyes. and between the chaotic stupid enemys and brain dead superiors makes it hard to believe the world. but for a free title decent time kill if only to pick apart

Good storyline

Very wordy. Repeating information that has already been covered repeatedly. If not for that the story is really good.

I don't say Bleh, Bleh, Bleh

The narrators' Eastern European "accent" is too forced and distracting, unfortunately making this performance unlistenable.
