Currency is a "must read".
Where does Currency rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Currency is ranked near the top. I listen to a lot of material during the work week. It was a pleasant experience listening to this book.
What other book might you compare Currency to and why?
Currency can be easily compared to a U.S. history book, and our life in modern times. We are repeating history. Many people do not realize what we are facing in the bigger picture with global economic concerns, and military and political issues.

I have many audio books, of which this is my first narrated by Michael Sears.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The book reaffirmed things we already know about the financial problems facing America today. This story follows history, and we are repeating it.

good story, well researched, writing just so-so
This is partly an historical novel and well researched in that regard. But make no mistake, the author is not a literary great. He often forgets the fiction writer's maxim, "show don't tell." The story is a good one and it is worth the read.

A Timely Novel For Our Times!
What did you love best about Currency?
Found myself sitting in my car in the parking lot in the cold to finish this one. I commute a good deal and I only find time to listen to audio books. A real page flipper... Even though it was released a few years ago, wow, how timely! Every American should read, listen, whatever...
Who was your favorite character and why?
Definitely Connor Murray - rooted for him the whole way...
What about Michael Sears’s performance did you like?
The performance could have been better but I enjoyed the book.

a good weaving of historical fiction
I like the fact that this book moved along and a pretty good Pace. iIt didn't linger on a tremendous amount of unnecessary detail to make the story. there were a few abrupt shifts but other than that definitely a good listen.

Where does Currency rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top. Very Top. So far, it is Number One. This book absolutely rocked. Adventure combined with history all framed within the narrative of the present financial climate...what's not to love?

This was my first Audible book and now I'm hooked. It was a great thriller with plenty of loops and hooks. Loved it. I highly advise anyone who is thinking of getting this to do it, sit back, and enjoy.

Currency is a book you don't want to put Down!
The Author L.TODD Wood has a wonderful story telling ability that can't be matched by many! His book fills your mind with splendid thoughts and images that only he can give. It's a very entertaining read that all can enjoy! Thank You

Wonderful four book series
L. Todd Wood is a masterful writer. Can't wait for another series to capture my immigration. The suspense will keep you begging for more.

Still Crafting His Skills
There’s a good story here, but I never found any real flow to this book. From a historical perspective, obviously there needs to be flashbacks to events, but they happened too frequently and covered too many periods in the book. There were some too convenient character insertions and other characters needed to have more depth. Almost felt like it was rushed to publication while the author may have wanted to explore a character more.
Didn’t care much for the reader on this one, found him too stiff.
