Publisher's summary

Aston Locke

Whispers of the Locke brothers fill the town, facts and reality twisted to fit what these motherf--kers believe they know about us.

That we’re sadistic bastards, incapable of any real emotions or fear.

Maybe they’re not wrong about that.

That is, until I set my sights on Kadence King, getting just as drawn to her as I am the darkness. It’s the first time I’ve felt anything in a long time.

But would she really be scared knowing the depth, the lengths I go with my brothers to make any f--ker who crosses us pay?

I need a woman who can accept me for who I am. For what I am.

I’m hoping like hell it’s her, because I want nothing more than to claim her as mine....

Kadence King

I know Aston’s dangerous, know people fear him. But I want him. I’m drawn to him, just as he’s drawn to the darkness.

I should be afraid of him, should turn the other way, but I can’t. I’ve gone mad and let him in my room, in my life, allowing him to consume me.

He possesses me, dominates me. Aston Locke shows me what it means to want to be claimed by him and only him.

And when he tells me I'm his, I have no doubt that’s the truth.

Because in the end it’s what I want too. No matter how dangerous he is....

Warning: Damaged Locke is a short co-written, kind of twisted love story from New York Times best-selling author Victoria Ashley and USA Today best-selling author Jenika Snow. If you like it hot and a little rough...this is the book for you. Age 18+

I was Locked in!

A great series beginner. This was really good and it does leave you wanting more. Aston and Cadence are a great fit for each other. Narration is definitely on point.

Short and Steamy!

This was my first Victoria Ashley and Jenika Snow's book. This is the first book in The Locke Brothers Series. This story is short, steamy and fast-paced. This is a good start for this Series. Aston and Kadence share an instant-lust-love. We can tell that the Locke Brothers aren't gentle with everyone. Not at all. They are brutal and they are doing what it took to protect their family. The narration was well done as always with Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. I enjoyed my listening. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Another Fabulously Awesome Book

Ok, so I love the youngest Locke brother and his tale of love, but I'm not clawing for the next brother's book. Aston and Kadence's chemistry was felt from the very first time they laid eyes on one another. This is an insta-like book. I don't want to love because I don't feel like that is the case but the attraction and chemistry is undeniable. This is a gritty, raw book from to awesome authors. I can't wait to see how the other Locke brother's books turn out! Wen and Kai hit it on the head with the narration. They were the perfect ones to bring life to Kadence and Aston!!

Youngest Locke finds love

This is book 1 of 3 and we have Aston Locke who is the youngest of the three brothers. Everyone fears the Locke brothers but people don't really know the real truth of who of what they do. Kadence has had a tragic life and when she sees the brothers leaving her neighbors home with blood on them she is drawn to the youngest. Even though she knows she shouldn't she can't help but be intrigued. When he saves her she is a goner and her world changes.

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott does a great job with Aston and Kadence. I love listening to their voices and they are spot on with the story.

I enjoyed this audiobook and look forward to the next ones.

Damaged Locke

This book is amazing! Especially if you don’t have a ton of time to listen but want a good book with characters that pull you in and connect with you so quickly. Loved the ending and how it gives you a glimpse of what the next book is about.

My Thoughts on Damaged Locke

Victoria Ashley and Jenika Snow make a very good combo. They managed to create a book that, while on the shorter side, was extremely entertaining and so very hot. The youngest Locke brother, Ashton, meets Kadence in dangerous circumstances. And there are plenty of rumors about him and his brothers that paint them as very scary men.

But he quickly shows himself to be a good man dispite the danger around him. I loved the chemistry between these two. Their connection was instant, intense, and yet felt real. This was just an overall enjoyable book.

The narration was amazing for this one. I love duet narration in general, but these two do it oh so well. I could listen to these two voices time and time again. And I absolutely plan to do just that by looking for more audiobooks by them.

Wow!

The narrators of this book made it great! They are truly amazing voice actors. The book itself was only mediocre for me because I felt it needed more of a storyline.

Good Story!

Good Story.
I enjoyed this very much for a short story. The narration was absolutely perfect.
Let’s talk violence.
First let me just say I don’t usually have a problem with violence or angst in a book.
I’m not sure how to word this without spoilers but I will try.
Based on the Locke Brothers background and upbringing their level and rage of violence is expected or at the very least not surprising. But for me the story wasn’t long enough to accurately portray the characters going from hard core violence to falling in love.
In my opinion, the storyline was too big for this size book.
I felt the same way about books 1 and 2 but it was still a very good story with amazing narration and I will be looking forward to book 3 in this series. If you are into hot sex and violence I recommend you read/listen to this book.

Loving those Lockes!

This first book of the series is just long enough to leave you wanting. We meet Aston, the youngest of the the Lockes, and the one that is being protected by his brothers. Not to be smothered, Aston does step out to protect those who need it and he sees Kadence King. The attraction between the two is immediate, and the insta-lust is strong. But will she be willing to be claimed by one of the infamously, dangerous Locke brothers? We get a glimpse into the brothers with this story, their history and their alpha tendancies. It's a quick, steamy listen with everything I love about Victoria Ashley's writing. This being a collaboration with Jenika Snow makes me want to look for more, to get to know the others and explore how this family has come to have the reputation they do. It's sure to be an fun ride! With the explosive narration by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, you know it's one you will not want to miss!
