Publisher's summary

This audiobook consists of two titles:

Title 1: Dark psychology is the name for the latest trend: Finding out about the dark side of human nature. We all have a dark side. We all have a tendency to be tempted, to give into our lusts and selfish wants...but what about the expression of those desires? That’s where the manipulative techniques come in that people use. You may be thinking that you don’t do it, but perhaps, subconsciously, you use some of those techniques as well.

Moreover, entire nations, groups, and charismatic individuals use manipulation and deceptive words to succor people into their way of thinking. Politics, cults, and countries are fed with half-truths and lies that highlight only one side of the complete picture.

In this guide to that deception, we will touch on that dark side and how it is used. We will go over some conspiracies and conspiracy theories that are creepier than you might think. Along with this, we’ll discuss what brainwashing is, how it is applied, and how governments and cults have used it to persuade others to do what they want them to do.

Title 2: Can you see through manipulation tactics?

Do you think people are manipulating you right now?

People manipulate all the time, even when they don’t realize it. But the trick is to notice it when it’s happening. There are some common myths about it, though, so we’ll debunk those first. Next, we’ll go into the best ways to spot manipulators, how to outsmart them, and how to see through the hidden signs of aggression. Other topics like NLP and social media manipulation will be addressed too. All in all, this audiobook can give you a lot of insights into the use of persuasion and manipulation. You’ll see what’s going on...what’s really going on when people are saying things.

Unbelievably good

This is great. I had low expectations (I always do.) But this was way better than I expected. So good I wanted to let everyone know that I learned much. The dark side of human nature really shows up through the things that are done collectively and individually.

Interesting

I am trying to mention something bad about this audiobook, but I can not. It's just way too good. So without more exaggeration, I just believe everybody should think of listening to it.

Yep

Yep, liked it. Nothing wrong with it. Long enough, good enough, and enjoyable (enough). You can listen to the sample and decide for yourself, but I was happy about it.

Great

I am not an avid review writer per se, but I was impressed by this book, so I decided to leave a few comments. The narrator is someone I wanted to listen to when I listened to the retail sample. I think the book is well written and professional. The author has done a great job (hence the word "great" in the title of my review), Dark psychology is an interesting topic, and the deepest corners of man's mind (and women's too) are revealed here.
